Mark Connolly
Big news out of Glasgow this morning that Dougie Hall is retiring and John Welsh is off to Newcastle at the end of the season. More importantly, as far as I'm concerned anyway, is that Shade Munro is also away in the summer. He has been a vastly underrated part of the Glasgow story, and I hope that 1: he is off to bigger and better things; and 2: they have a damn good replacement lined up.
peasy23
Warriors are 27-7 ahead at the RDS against Leinster at half time. Injuries are piling up though so hopefully they can hang on for the win.
Mark Connolly
Big comeback from Leinster, combined with a stupid yellow for Matawalu and a string of 50-50 penalties against has Leinster in control.

Mark Connolly
Fantastic from Glasgow to get a 34-34 draw there, including a 4 try bonus.
peasy23
Fantastic from Glasgow to get a 34-34 draw there, including a 4 try bonus. Yep, really dragged themselves off the floor to get back level after that onslaught by Leinster. Hope none of the injuries are too serious.

RedRob72
Kevin Sinfield announces his retirement from Rugby League at the end of the season and has signed an 18 month contract with the Rhinos sister club and Union side Leeds Carnegie. A fantastic player, captain, servant and ambassador to the club.
peasy23
Al Kellock will retire in the summer after 9 years as captain at Glasgow Warriors. He's been a huge part of the Warriors success. Edited April 2, 2015 by peasy23

Northsea80
Pushing towards the 7000 mark in ticket sales for tomorrow's game v Cardiff. Big push in the last 3 games to make sure of a home play off semi final for Glasgow. Hoping for a bonus point win tomorrow. Anything away to Connacht and then a home win against Ulster should secure a spot in the top two.
Northsea80
Tomorrow's team, Weir back from injury, good impact players on the bench in Strauss and Nakawara. Happy to see Pyrgos back at scrum half.

Happy to see Pyrgos back at scrum half. That is good for Glasgow/Scotland that Weir and Pyrgos are back from injury. Maitland will not pull on a Glasgow shirt again as his injury will keep him out for the rest of the season.

peasy23
Two quick tries for Glasgow against Cardiff. 15-3. Superb first half going in 29-3 up, they then went 36-3 up but have allowed Cardiff a couple of fairly cheap tries and it's now 36-17 with over 10 minutes left.
Northsea80
Good bonus point win. Obligatory switch off in the second half to give Cardiff a glimmer of hope. Great for Hall to to score tonight. Of all the players leaving DTH will be the biggest loss I think, obviously they lose the leadership qualities of Kellock but DTH has been a fantastic player and points scorer for Glasgow. Maitland hasn't played enough rugby in the past two seasons to be missed and niko is too erratic at times at scrum half, if rather have a steady hand than an enigma at 9.
peasy23
Glasgow Warriors retained their Melrose Sevens title, but had to come from behind to see off a very good German national side in the final.
