I have only just noticed Edinburgh are not called Edinburgh gunners any more.

They started off as Edinburgh Rugby in 1998. In 1998 they were renamed Edinburgh Reivers when the Border Reivers were 1st disbanded and merged with them (Glasgow became Glasgow Caledonians at the same time as they merged with Caledonia Reds). In 2005 Edinburgh Reivers was renamed Edinburgh Gunners (And Glasgow became Glasgow Warriors). In 2006 Edinburgh Gunners became Edinburgh Rugby after it was sold by the SRU and the term "The Gunners" is a trademark for Arsenal.

Rory Hughes, eh? He might have had the best line in the Chipshopgate incident, when he said (while dressed as someone from Still Game) "f**k off you dirty rat" and threatened to stab a guy with a plastic fork.

I think it was the guy he threatened to stab that was dressed up as Victor from still game.
