Bold Rover
Which pub?
Archie McSquackle
Stuff like 60 shilling/80 Shilling etc. Auld man puddlemuck basically. 60' was light, 70' or 80' was heavy although 80' was a lot better. McEwan's 80 bob was a lovely pint in the right pub. 90 shilling I believe is pretty much McEwan's No.1 or Champion Ale and is also lovely. I've never heard of anyone buying Heavy tops although I did start my beer drinking journey in pubs on lager tops.Anyway, times change and I'm enjoying a really nice Street Life Pale Ale.

Le Tout P'ti FC
Avoiding the Old Firm game in a cold tap room in Gala. Perfect.Liking the look of the 10.0% Mexicake imperial stout. Vanilla, cocoa, cinnamon, Chipotle, mulato chillies. Saving it for later.

Craig fae the Vale
Alcohol free Punk for now because I'm on taxi duty later. Can't wait to celebrate the Vale's excellent win with a proper beer once my obligations are out of the way!

centralTon
Were you on your own?No, Mrs. Ct was with me. Fortunately she wasn’t at the game and just met me in The Ubiquitous Chip. Went to a gig in The Hug and Pint afterwards.
Eednud
Was at Bowden Brewing for Father’s Day lunch yesterday so thought it was the right thing to buy some more of their brews for research purposes. This one is a very good brew.

Eednud
Wizard American Pale Ale from Bowden Brewing. A limited edition they should seriously consider making it an unlimited one. Using 2 types of malt from Coopers was a good move. This American Pale Ale is a magical combination of three main hops; Ella, Eclipse & Talus. This hop driven concoction features hints of Citrus, pine needles and tropical fruit, that will knock any wizard, or witch, off their broomstick in delight. A simple, balanced body weight means this Ale can be enjoyed by the pint or the cauldron.
