bob_mcshug
just thought i'd mention how impressed i am with the website and forum. Div, Ruggy & Iain are doing a crackin job, as are all the regular contributors to the website. While still in it's infancy, the board is attracting a lot more attention and is gaining members all the time!!(we've even got a montrose fan for god's sake !!!) I remember early doors when Div was thinkin bout jackin it but we all saw the potential (and where he was going with the site) and wanted to keep it going!! ....well it's starting to reach that potential now so a big pat on the back for everyone involved!!! well done folks ! It's all good bob! Bearing in mind that this is still the close season (aye ok, the last day of it ) it's great stuff. Naturally, the interest will pick up when the season gets going, and I don't think it'll be too long before we're knocking on the 500 members... The 2nd and 3rd div forums are also getting busier. F'kin great stuff - next move? Sponsorhip pieman, let's get some readies in for a swally!!
Div
Thanks for the kind comments - there has been a fair bit of work done on the site but by breaking that down among lots of different people it hasn't been too difficult to get this far The authors on the clubs on the main page also do a great job and I am indebted to them for that, as I am to the people who have made P&B part of their online diet Sid has to get some credit for whipping up some visitors early doors when we were struggling too As do many other people who have done some advertising work for the site. Hopefully as the season progresses we can get the P&B community to meet up on match days and share a few jars too. The future is bright - the future is P&B
St Sid
We tried to meet up with Harry Kinnear at the Railway Tavern before the f'kirk game but he took a whitey and ran out the door in his flared denim suit. One of the highlights of last season. Getting together for a few beers before games is a good idea to get the banter going prior to the games. Myself and TL are working on a massive JB's banner for away games that will make us easily identifiable. However, perhaps kicking off a thread each week were the main protagonists will have their pre-match / post match beer will help move that along. Drink before the games is a great idea, won't make as many games as usual this season but will want to make up for it when I do!
