  1. Spittal not at it again, Halliday’s only move was to stymie our attacks with a pass back to Kelly. We had good chances in the first half and plenty of attacks but no threat in the second. Kelly was absolutely fine today.
  2. At the game I didn’t see a foot in the belly, I thought the Aberdeen boy had challenged Vale and was getting a very harsh yellow, then I realised it was red and for Vale. I can see the ref’s point of view but I am persuaded by the Sportscene pundits that he kicked the ball then the Aberdeen player ‘steamed in’. Not enough of an ‘error’ for VAR to overturn, Not specific to this incident but I often wonder why a player has no responsibility to protect himself, a defender can be clearing the ball but an attacker, who can’t get the ball, dangles a leg in the area of the arc of the defenders kick. There is contact and it’s the defenders fault. Dont know if Vale’s absence impacted our defending of the goal, our Alamo at the end was exciting but didn’t actually trouble the keeper.
  3. I was told the same. The game was stopped at a corner to squeegee the water away. Watch Motherwell’s goal, splish splash then feed the Bair.
  4. I got one email because I recently bought a single ticket for my wife and another email because my ‘free’ juvenile ticket has changed personnel over the years. All these contacts have used my email address even if they were through different accounts. The club is trawling its database to pick up the slack on anyone who may be interested or have once been interested. Not sure targeting opposition fans will bear much fruit.
  5. If the club needs £1M then we could raise it. We could be creative. I would pay £1000 up front for the right to buy my season ticket for £100 for the next five years. Mix those numbers up to suit the club and the individual. Sell more shares to the punters. Auction things off including the right to play in a match at Fir Park (been done before hasn’t it?). Maybe a number of events or initiatives over a period of time but it doesn’t seem an insurmountable total and certainly not worth selling the club for. Surely any meaningful transfer of ownership proposal would start the conversation at around £10M?
  6. It is up to Aberdeen as a club to change to get the best out of the new manager. He could be a superstar but if the club is a basket case he will fail, or be failed by the club.
  7. The home tickets are available to buy on their own site but aye, a £1.70 add on for postage when we put the details up.
  8. What do Aberdeen take out of that today? Is it the confidence that they are capable of competing further up the table or is it the mental sapping devastation of defeat. Anyway, they will get a 1-0 head start before we begin to play.
  9. I saw the Championship team yesterday and wondered if Bair might get a sniff, maybe he has timed his run brilliantly.
