  1. John Rankin and Duncan Ferguson trying to see who's the least shite manager. Thrilling prospect.
  2. Rankin's game management is a massive, massive flaw. We've seen it throughout the season and almost threw away a game today when Alloa seemed desperate to hand it to us with a stupid red. If we go up I'll have the absolute fear for next season. Don't look championship ready at all.
  3. Believe me, it's not praise of Rankin so much as it's an indictment of the dire Canning/Rice years in the premiership.
  4. Fair enough, glad he's found his level and a manager who knows how to use him. We just couldn't get a tune out of him.
  5. In fairness, if there's one man I'd blame for us losing to Airdrie it's not Rankin. Jean-Pierre fucking Tiehi missed a sitter in the 88th minute and an tap-in in extra time. And the Kilday red was bizarre, as was the O'Reilly red in the cup final last season. His big failures have been the Falkirk games. It's a big if, but if he gets us promoted he'll be our most successful manager since Alex Neil by a country mile.
  6. Just playing Reegan Mimnaugh at all is a piss take. Mental how he, Ronan Hughes and Kyle Munro started for us in the premiership against teams like Celtic and Rangers. We started the most important game of our season Vs Airdrie with Matty Shiels, a right-back, playing as a target man.
  7. We played them last year in our ill-fated playoff with a worse squad than we have now and won 5-3 on aggregate.
  8. Agree on the point about QP - saw them earlier in the season against Partick, and even though they lost 3-1 I was impressed by them. Inverness seem very lacklustre up top, they don't have a goalscorer like Ruairi Paton. On the other hand, Inverness away is a grim fixture. And I think we'll need to be much mentally stronger than we have been in crucial games this season where we've dropped points stupidly (Annan at home immediately springs to mind).
  9. Please keep Robertson on the bench next game cheers Steve
  10. f**k off Armstrong. Bring me Ryan Gauld please, can't miss any more chances than this donkey
  11. A team with more composure is about 3/4 up by now
  12. How many chances do we need man? Getting Euros flashbacks here
  13. I know it's only 4 minutes but this has been a slow start for us
  14. We genuinely could be 2/3-0 up if we weren't crapping ourselves as soon as we got anywhere near goal. Christie should've put at least one away for sure. But very positive, despite losing Patterson getting injured and Ukraine not having either Stepanenko or Bodnar off for 2nd yellow/violent conduct respectively.
