just listened to it and enjoyed it and delighted Murdie's chat was from before the Beith v Pollok game and not after. Will certainly keep listening to anymore.

Just keep winning and make sure you beat Talbot in the head to heads then why not. Not getting wins by accident!

Hi Kennie,
18th January, Beith don't have a game and neither do Rossvale - just missed off or correct that neither team have a game?
Thanks

When was the last time it kicked off at Beith? Only time I know of was 2014ish - still not acceptable of course!
Last season we visited in the Scottish, to be greeted by a F*** Beith sign - we don't even get that at Kilbirnie and then young fans were attacked and bottled as they left the ground.
As for Talbot, always felt their committee to be very welcoming and sporting regardless of the result. Could pick out a couple of incidents with a lot of clubs but they are 9/10 isolated incidents due to young teams glory hunting and tagging along for a big game and I include the Kilwinning incident in that.

For the amount of time it takes to produce a good one, not something basic compared to the sales/income for the club you get I don't think it is worth it unless its a special/occasion match.

I know Glenafton won it but does anyone have the final league table for this year?
Thanks in advance

if my club were involved i'd have wanted the fixture moved so not going to be two faced.
Happy that Talbot got to move it, it might only benefit them but like it or not - the further involvement of junior teams in the senior Scottish boosts the grade's reputation and we should encourage it. Senior Scottish teams getting knocked out of Europe early brings the reputation down of the Scottish league - some might like it but doesn't actually help them, same as an early knock out of Talbot won't help anyone in the juniors.

Has to be beating Talbot 3-0 at Beechwood in the big Scottish Cup - only junior team to ever beat them in the big Scottish and only Ayrshire team to have ever done so either. Winning Finals or League's can't compare surely.............................
Joking, there has been loads but winning the Scottish on pens v Pollok was a game changer finally winning the Holy Grail.

Confirmed as signing for us on Saturday morning. We also signed Larry McMahon (ex Kilbirnie, Largs, Winton) from Albion Rovers too.

Davy Anderson said he’d never join another junior club & was true to his word . Jamie has done the same . I’d call that loyaltyPity about Liam then.....

Thought there was a big improvement last season, along with no Evening Times Cup pressuring the end of season finish as well.
I didn't like the new sectional cup, 3 games in 5 days show the lacks of importance and most clubs end up treating it in kind. I'd either makes the groups bigger or just make it straight knock out.
Didn't miss the Ayrshire Cup at the end of the season either.
Extended league and more teams gave things a bit more breathing space so that was good.
Thanks Kennie for all your contribution.

Who are favourites for this final, any team that score 4 at Beechwood must have something about them, even if Talbot had an off day and a changed back four. It makes you wonder why KRR flirted with the drop all season, if they can raise their game like they did in the semi, surely the players are able to fight a bit more and reach that level in league games, it must leave Roy fans scratching their heads.I wouldn't read too much into Beiths 5 nil gubbing by Talbot, purely a nothing game with he-haw at stake. My prediction is Beith to win 3-2 in an entertaining match, with old Bot lad Milliken scoring the winner.
would happily take that!
