Quite funny how many predicted us for 3rd. Myself included but I did caveat it…

My overall prediction was absolutely shite too. I think other than the obvious it’s just an incredibly difficult league to predict before a ball is kicked.

Finished freakily well in 22/23 under Robson, so the lazy prediction was for this to continue into new season.

Predicting outwith the two teams to finish in the top two is near impossible.

Last time Livingston were at Tynecastle they stank the place out with a display so defensive that even a cartoon version of Craig Levein would have thought it was a bit much.

Hearts had 77% of possession, 24 Shots, 10 on target (Livi had three and zero) and played 667 passes but it took until the 79th minute for Vargas to get the goal

That was a long and frustrating afternoon for Hearts fans, and we won so it must have been even less enjoyable for the visitors

Hopefully this is going to be better, but I might take a book just in case

A sell out home crowd too, what short memories we've all got.

Hearts fans coming on here looking for a Levein angle? It's not always about you you c***s. Ask some Hibs fans about how many times, usually in important games, that Saints have pumped them in.

    I showed Craig your post.

I've enjoyed Aberdeen fans on Twitter having a laugh at Hearts signing "bottom six jobbers" while seemingly oblivious to the fact that's what all their players currently are.

A lot on Hibs.net are the same.  Reading their thread you would think Hibs have third place sown up this season and about to sign a dozen world class players over the summer to challenge the arse cheeks next season.

  5. I think there is a notable group of Season ticket holders just don't use the ticket exchange system. I'm not sure how they could make it easier for some, perhaps through the introduction of a dedicated phone line for ticket exchange assistance, especially catering to those less tech savvy.

If demand for season tickets is genuinely as high as some in the club claim, then I believe their is merit in ensuring that the limited number of season tickets available go to those that can attend the most games, or are prepared to make the effort to use ticket exchange when it's available. If the game doesn't go to ticket exchange then that's a free pass.

It doesn't have to be quite as strict as the Bradford model, possibly the culmination of eight games missed in a season, without any effort to use ticket exchange(when available) or any special dispensation for health reasons, could result in losing the right to renew for the following season.

As I've posted elsewhere, I think there should be a greater onus on ST holders who can't make it being obliged to put their ticket up on exchange or at least letting someone borrow so we don't have rakes of empty seats

Something like the Bradford systems might work.

From next season, season ticket holders must attend as many home games as possible. When a match is missed, the ticket-holder will receive a 'yellow card' and a culmination of four of these will result in losing the right to renew the season ticket in March 2024 for the 2024/25 football season.

Fans can transfer their season tickets to other supporters to attend the match in their place and avoid the warnings. If the ticket is listed on the official ticket exchange platform before 10 am on the day of the match and does not sell, the holder will also dodge the so-called yellow card.
