I'm looking for a pub in the centre of Glasgow that might show the Saudi race - any suggestions? Central Station/Argyle Street/Queen Street area would suit me best, but might travel if schedule allows.

The guy covering the Ayr game that doesn't have a fucking clue about any of the players and actually interrupted others to talk about a goal that was ruled for offside as if it was a legitimate goal.
It was only 6-7 minutes later he piped back up to say it'd been ruled out.
Few things in life are as painful for me as losing to Ayr, but listening to that earbleed this afternoon came close. I hope he never goes near a microphone ever again.

And only delay the problem? Nah, get it over and done with and take your pumping from the mighty Dee.
You'd be better off staying home to pump your inflatable girlfriend.

Can't see this being other than a really, really turgid game.
Maybe the weather will do us all a favour and get it postponed.

Some colourful language from the punters in the derry there
Video should carry a viewer discretion warning...
Magnificent effort and a credit to all participants - top swearing.

11 amateurs on the pitch - all in blue and white.

Just checked the appointments for the Dundee game over on the SFA site. I note our game against Morton on 14/09 was played at Palmerston Park, but tomorrow night's fixture will be at the Queen of the South Arena. Is that a wee admin error or is it a telly pilot for the reinstatement of the old Tennents' Sixes...?

Utter crap today. It would be a waste of data to add any more.

12th October is a free Saturday (at present). Presume that is set aside for internationals/Tunnocks Cup fixtures? If so - and if we're out of the Wafercup - then we could maybe get Killie/Leeds/Valencia/Harlem Globetrotters booked in for then.
23th November is also empty, but I'd assume that will be a Scottish Cup Saturday (which we'd be involved).

Glad to see that, once again, Queens players have avoided going for unnecessary squad numbers. No Championship club should have any numbers beyond 30, imo.
The day I see a Queens sub coming on wearing any number north of 60, I'll mutter an expletive followed by something along the lines of "this game is dead to me..."

Pleased with the signing of McCrorie for a number of reasons:-
1. He’s already done well at this level.
2. The loan is season long and not 6 months as the press were speculating earlier in the week.
3. The confirmation from AJ that he wants a keeper to command his box.
4. He Isn’t Alan Martin.5. He isn't Lee Robinson.
Fixed.

I can see us grinding out a result then f***ing it up on penalties. It's just the way it is meant to be.

The build up on social media to tonight’s game from the club, the trust, the fans and especially the SLO’s was absolutely fantastic. The whole flag reveal was brilliant, and the awareness they created surely got some extra bodies in the gate. Really made it feel like a special game, brilliant work.
Said it before, but the Twitter/Facebook stuff recently has been spot on. Live text has been especially informative/funny.

Poem on the OS. Not bad, but I reckon there's a few wordsmiths on here who could better it. FWIW, here's my effort:
The Queen of the South
Was as then, still as today

Can any of you boys put a positive spin on the underwhelming appointment of Jim McIntyre at Dens? Anything? I'll take anything.
McIntyre for McCann is a significant upgrade. Mind you, I suppose the same could be said about a BLT with mayo....
McIntyre and Allan Johnston are probably the best regarded managers we've had in recent seasons. Can see JM doing well at Dens if he's given a reasonable chance.

Yogi Hughes still talking about the SPL and the First Division as current entities. And he wonders why he's still out of a job.

That might partially explain why the squad is thinner than a thin thing at the mo.If true, does the budget constraints only last this season?
No idea!
I'd imagine compo would be a lump sum?? If so, then it might be a 12-month thing. But that's pure speculation.
