I wonder what will happen first - the £200m redevelopment or the tidal barrage in the Solway...
FWIW - and assuming there's some degree of concrete in today's announcement - then I would like to think that the second of the two new stands planned would be at the Terregles Street end. The Summerville End should be given listed status and preserved for as long as it's viable, IMO.

10 years ago we had a manager who took over a successful Queens team and led them to 4th in his first season in charge. Then, in the second season, it all turned to poop.
It's all just a little bit of history repeating, as Confucius once said. Or it might have been the Propellerheads - one or other.

How are ticket sales going for the Hall of Fame evening?

A bit random, but we've made the front page of Wikipedia today: (Did you know...)
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Main_Page
Got to be honest, I didn't click on the links to Brownlie or Fowler's page, but read about Mike the Headless Chicken instead.

I agree that the Black Eyed Peas monstrosity can get to puff. For a flavour of the month pop song, playing it repeatedly a whole 5 years after its release is too far.
Ditto The Fratellis' Chelsea Dagger and The White Stripes' Seven Nation Army. Fine songs and all that, but battered to death by over-repetition at nearly every single sporting event.
I don't mind really what's used, so long as it's an original idea and nearly exclusively used by us. Some cheesy listening track would make a fine full-time choon.

Willie Gros is not a good footballer. He's strong and has a very powerful strike, but that's about it. Was a bit too fond of the Killie nightlife and that cost him any chance he had of making it. Was always a big lad, so can only imagine what shape he'll be in after a year out the game.
No probs there.
No Queens player has ever gotten into bother whilst on a night out in Dumfries...

Sad to see Paul Burns will be leaving Palmerston - he's been a wonderful servant to the club.
I'm sure everyone will wish him all the best.

Jimmy Robertson was my #1 until Dobbs came along.
It's a Maradona v Messi debate, I guess.

Don't know if it's true, but heard Kris Boyd is coming from Rangers
We might as well go the whole way to Do One and sign Jon Daly as well.

Oldco. What a strikeforce they could have had if they paired this youngster with Sebastian Rozental or Tore Andre Flo:

The Daily Telegraph isn't normally my fish and chip wrapping of choice, but this article is worth a read:

Don't jaffa cakes go hard when they go off? Just sayin.
Rookie error. I'm a strictly Tunnock's Wafers man only, so should never have let myself comment on matters clearly outwith my field of knowledge. There's definitely some conjecture on whether or not the Jaffa is indeed a cake or a biscuit, but there's simply no doubt it goes hard - not soft - with age.
My profuse apologies for making a dreadful faux pas.

Explain?
The tea was cold and the Jaffa Cakes had gone soft.

What happened to the Bob Mchugh rumour??
Hopefully it'll end up being another Rob Lee moment.
Of the players we've been allegedly linked with, I'd take Tade way ahead of Scotland or McHugh.

Just read that Queens made a £55,000 profit for the last financial year .
May not be much but it's another step in the right direction
Any club making a financial profit in Scottish football's current economic climate should be applauded.
Maybe our BoD should offer money advice to the likes of the SPFL, SFA, Sevco, etc....

Did The Wurzels, The Krankies and The Grumbleweeds all have prior bookings for that weekend?
