Probably has been posted at one point but these idiots that go to the ATM check their balance then get a printout and don't take any cash out then repeat the process with several cards while you wait behind them to simply take cash out which takes less than a minute. Absolutely fucking hate these idiots!

Thats Livingston just paid £50,000 to Massone, then they have the players wages today, a bus to Coatbridge (unless they are still taking cars), plus all the other overheads, then they have the long trip up to Dingwall, when is money going to start to come in ?, how the fcuk can they survive.
They are paying the wages again? Did no one tell them that Massone had the wages for the players and staff on Wednesday? He must have paid them, the players are getting paid twice in one week! They can't survive if they are paying their players double.

Thank you SFL, Thank you Big Jim, Thank you Donald, Thank you Ged, Neil & Gordon. If 16 of SFL member clubs have a heart or a head we should be saved. Obliviously in saying this I believe Massone will reject the offer on the grounds he is a deluded moron.
Also a special thank you to all Livi fans who did all they could to saved my and their beloved club, i.e. donate, protest, pray etc…
Vile. I hope posters such as 'Sir Robert Brannon' etc.... take a look at themselves in the mirror and realise that they are the w**k-stains on the pants of earth and indeed Scottish football. Many Livingston fans contributed to the Dee4life fund and essentially helped save the club and considering this, Sir Robert….’s attitude and behavior involving this saga has been a disgrace not only to mankind but to the club you support. This contribution of money and support is a feat I’m sure Livi fans would repeat if another club faced the dreaded axe.
Again thank you to everyone how helped save the club
You need 75% of the 29 member clubs to vote in favour of the proposal which I hope doesn't happen, have you seen the consequences of this? If you can get rid of Massone another way fine but that rule should not be changed.
As for your piece on me, I feel so privileged other than the petition I created (taking the piss) most of my posts have been that I hope Livingston survive. Some Dundee fans I know would be happy to see Livingston go out of business though because of what happened in the past. When Livingston went into admin in 2004, the vast majority of our fans supported the cause, but after what happened in 2005 a lot wouldn't now.
I'm glad Livingston pulled through today because people have guaranteed that they will still be here in a years time, fair enough. You should receive a points deduction though I suspect that you will let off with that too. The other good news from this is that those that lost their jobs are getting them back and that the good, true, ordinary supporters of Livingston aren't losing their club.

Well by the club being saved and MCL loving it then more jobs have been saved that could have been lost. You are quite sad by the days events aren't you?
The Sun says that those made redundant may now get their jobs back, good news of course.

I'm not entirely clear why anyone would invest in a football club in this day and age to be honest.
Don't want to see Livi going under but this proposed rule change seems utterly absurd to me.
The rule change is exactly that and I doubt that 75% of the 29 member clubs will agree to the change. If it is passed no one will lend to a club in Scotland or do a big contract without seeing the money first.

What happened to many of the things he said?
We need to forget about him and move the club on. The hard work is only just beginning. It is a new start for Livi and we have one chance to get it right in your eyes. A lot of people will be working very hard to achieve this and have no doubts that we start from a very poor position indeed.
You can't just forget about him you still need him to sell the shares. When he has done so, you can forget about him.

So effectively Massone's deadline has been extended for a year? Because if not, when next deadline comes and goes, the club could be liquidated.
Pretty much, he still has the shares but at the moment he has no power as the interim manager will control the club for the next year alongside the two investors. I'm sure he'll sell the shares within the next year if not sooner and if he doesn't, it could be the end unless the clubs vote to change rule 21.7 which I hope they don't, it would ruin Scottish football... it's already bad enough.
As long as they stick to what they told the SFL today, Livingston will be here for at least another year.

I've listened to the press conference and I'm struggling to understand what has really changed, other than the offer to Massone being increased and Livi being allowed to compete in matches for the next few weeks.
If Massone refuses to sell - and there's nothing suggest he will change his mind - Livingston will either be liquidated in a few weeks.... or the offer and deadline will be upped again.
And as for Massone being insane or retarded - surely nothing could be further from the truth. He has got exactly what he wanted from the situation and most people think it's because he's an idiot rather an conniving shitebag!
I've no idea what legal issues involved would be, but surely the best situation would be for Livingston FC Ltd to be liquidated, so Massone gets nothing, and the 2 investors to take over the league place with a new club in the 3rd division. This would of course be dependent on them placing a bond and business plan to ensure the completion of at least one season, and - crucially - the commitment to pay some non-trival (at least 20%) amount to the creditors of Livingston FC Ltd.
They are safe until the end of the season. Those two investors will help fund the club and the interim manager will run it. Massone will have no say for the next year and will probably end up selling his shares.
They've given the SFL assurances that they will fund the club there really is no going back now. They'll survive for at least another year.

Maybe it's because it's getting late, but I'm not quite understanding something.
Is Massonne still the majority share holder at Livingston ?? Is the money provided by the other two going to the same company that Massone is the majority shareholder off ??
If so would Massonne still not have the final say in everything at the club ?
It's all a bit confussing
He still has the shares but the interim manager has the power not Massone. At the moment, Massone has no power at all.

3 points and 30k fine?
30k fine to be paid 2p in the £.

I highly doubt that 22 out of 29 teams will vote for this.

Well if they do change this rule - it will open up a whole crock of shit for Scottish Fitba, more clubs will be seduced by the "dream" of being 3rd in the SPL knowing full well when it all goes Ken Tong, they won't have to stump up a penny. To the likes of MCL - what about those Livi FC staff who were made redundant - are they geting their jobs back - cnuts like you make me sick.
Go on Angelo - burn Almondvale down !
Not really as no one would be stupid enough to lend or allow big contracts without seeing some money first but that can't be changed. It would be madness.
0 -
If they did that, then surely ANY club could use that as a way of writing of avoiding their creditors?
It's disgusting they are even contemplating this.
Exactly. You would have to be mad to lend to an SFL club if they changed that rule.

The Scottish Football League Management Committee met this afternoon with the Court Appointed Interim Manger of Livingston Football Club, Mr Donald McGruther of Mazars, and other parties in relation to the present situation at the club.
As a result of detailed discussions the following has been agreed -
- The Scottish Football League will consider a change to their current rule number 21.7 regarding insolvent reconstruction and will call a Special General Meeting of all member clubs to discuss this.
The Scottish Football League asked for guarantees from Mr McGruther in relation to
- The ability of Livingston FC to complete the scheduled fixtures for season 2009 – 2010
- Deliver a business plan for the club
- Financial Stability at the club
Mr McGruther and other parties were able to provide these guarantees to the League Management Committee’s satisfaction.
The Scottish Football League will continue to monitor the situation at Almondvale over the coming weeks and any sanctions against the club will be decided during this time.
Livingston’s Co-operative Insurance Cup tie at Albion Rovers will go ahead as planned, at Cliftonhill Stadium on Saturday and Livingston FC will commence the 2009 - 2010 season playing as a First Division club.
From the SFL handbook,
21.7 Except as aftermentioned no club shall be entitled, either directly or indirectly, to transfer its membership of the League to another club.Surely they can't change that rule??

Perhaps it's because people in the real world have jobs to go to and mortgages to pay.
What an utterly ridiculous suggestion.
He was referring to the other two events prior to these that were held on Friday nights.

Anybody got a Livingston v Gretna matchday programme? Could be worth a few bob in the future....
I have a Dundee v Gretna one.. currently sitting at £76.01

SFL - 'Good afternoon, Mr McGruther, thanks for meeting with us'
Interim manager - 'No problem guys, I appreciate the chance to prepare as well as I could, let's just sit and wait until Mr Massone arrives and I'm sure we'll be able to convince him to sell his shares.'
SFL - 'Very well'

Apparently Massone has turned up at Hampden but is being refused entry.

Uhhhhhh it's upside down lads.
Another worrying aspect for anyone considering taking over this mess at such a late stage...
At two supporters rallies outside Almondvale plus yesterdays meeting, there's been a combined total of under 500 fans. In fact it's maybe nearer 300.
If Livi have a core support of 1000+ (mentioned somewhere earlier in this thread) then where the f**k are they, and why are they not showing those running the thing how much they want it to be saved. Sitting on your arse at home hoping for a miracle definitely won't achieve a thing.
Respect to those who have at least put in the effort however.
apparently The flag has to go upside down - in Italian (and indeed) ultra mentality, that signifies that all is not well. It's like on ships as well - if the flag on the boat is flying upside down, it means the ship is under attack. It indicates distress. In Italy it is a sign that the supporters dislike what the Chairman/board are doing to a club0 -

I don't know if this has been mentioned but the Livi website isn't working - its showing a page from back in May.
It is working fine.

I am Angelo Massone and I am here to pay the wages and staff. I have about £60,000 to pay the wages of the players and the staff. I have wages and staff immediate transfer from Italy then I will ask the interim manager to run to club. He has no money if I give him money then he can run the club.

I'm sure it wouldn't bother him in the slightest. Waving it at the tens of fans wandering about outside the ground would be much more amusing.

I can just imagine the scene...
Massone gets out his car is chased around by angry Livingston fans.
Massone goes inside the stadium and tells the administrator 'no' and that he has money to sort it out.
Massone laters hands over £100 to pay off all the debts.
