Some of the scenes in "Kill it, skin it, wear it" on Channel 4 are horrid. My leapord skin sweatpants are now in the bin.

Talent wise I'd say Federer and Nadal are ahead of everyone else, then Djokovic and Murray are just behind them Murray's probably the inform man in tennis, just behind Nadal at the moment.

In the past two weeks I've run for 30-40 minutes every day bar one. I'm getting back to my best at fives, so I feel vindicated by my decision to take up running.

I had a uni exam last year and just as it was approaching central, the train decided to stop just next to the platform for about 7/8 minutes. I was shitting myself.

44 or 66 will do but I prefer the train. I live ridiculously close to Cathcart train station, so I'm just being lazy. I imagine they're fixing the bit at Pollokshields East maybe, because they keep slowing down near it on arrival because of some sort of work getting done on it just now.

That news has ruined my day

I've got really broad feet, so basically went into greaves and asked for the broadest pair they had. My shoes are absolutely massive in breadth and height, but they are comfort personified.

I have New Balance trainers. I take it that means I can't do the Nike Plus challenge?

This thread gave me inspiration, so yesterday I went to Greaves and bought a pair of New Balance trainers. They're absolutely huge because of my broad feet, but have good padding. Decided to do my first run through Linn Park today. Quite an interesting course. Very hilly at some points, and lots of stairs. Also saw some guys that used to go to my school, aged 14-15, drinking mad dog on the steps. I felt such pride. I'm glad I did it. I play better at 5s when I'm at peak fitness, so hopefully I'll go back to being a complete monster at 5s again.

Sounds a bit like Fletch from Hollyoaks fall from grace.

Anyone know a good make of running shoes to get for a cheapish price? Like £30-40. I'd quite like to do more running, but none of the shoes I have just now are really suitable for it.

I was being sarcastic. There was never any chance of you getting back your points. I can understand the prinicipal of Bates doing it, just as I understood the principal of Tom Hughes taking the SPL to court for us to stay in the Spl a few years back, but both were a complete waste of money.

I certainly didn't see this decision coming.

Crash 9/10 I'm probably not the harshest film critic but I thought this was brilliant. Always found films about racism very interesting and this was particularly emotive Some great performances. Characters all seemed very realistic and how I'd imagine some sections of America think about minorities. Only poor point is the girl protecting her dad, when the guy shoots him, and neither of them get hit by a bullet. Ridiculous, unless it's a cartoon movie

Federer criticised Murray for his style of play, saying that Murray should have came out and played more and not sat behind the baseline waiting for a Federer mistake. I think Roger has picked up some tricks from Henry on that advert they did together. Murray is a smart player and knew that if he just served and volley he would get taken apart.

This doesn't get on my nerves as such, just something I don't understand. Homeless people always try and skip the queue when Im at a till in Tesco so they can buy their can of Super T. Surely if you are homeless you'd want to stay in the warmth as long as possible, rather rush in and out. Also they always says keep the change, if its like 2 or 3p. You need it more than Tesco mate

We might come close to winning a doubles match but except from that it's gonna be pretty dire. Is Arvind Palmer still hanging about the squad? I've seen him a good 10 or so times on tv, and can't remember him winning a set
