  1. Why would 2 members of the club board ask the chief executive to contact an agent who’s also a fan to work another fan who’s a good friend of the chair to set up this group of fans who no one knows to take the shares on behalf of the fans they have never communicated with?

Why have 2 of the group kept hidden?

How many of the 6 (or is it 8?) have business dealings with the club prior to this and stand to gain from their compliance and selling out the rest of the fan base?

Saw last night that both Barnsley and Nancy, owned by Chien Lee - who was once interested in buying us, have both been relegated. He owns eight clubs now including Kaiserslautern, Den Bosch and Oostende, amongst others.

Didn’t really like the idea at the time but feel we’ve really dodged a bullet there, especially now with the talk of fan ownership, which would have been a lot harder to wrestle from him than Low I’d imagine.

Would be some pre-season trip though.

She won’t leave, has no intention of giving up control or allowing anything close to a fan ownership model that actually allows fans to control the club.

In her minds eye, this is her club and we are lucky to have her.

Watch her over next 10 days carve up the pretense of fan ownership to install herself as lifetime President, Chair and Supreme Leader of the club.

What is the current and future role of the PTFC Trust which was not mentioned in the TBC and PTFC statements on Saturday? There is no information on the website, just this page - https://ptfc.co.uk/club/whos-who/ptfc-trust/

ETA - note that the club section also has this out-of-date page on The Working Group - https://ptfc.co.uk/club/working-group/about-the-working-group/. Note that there's no information on The Jags Foundation that succeeded it.

    Very depressing!

    Ah the Partick Thistle Trust.

A fans organization that holds no elections, has no way of contacting and it’s board members were hand picked by Jacqui Low.

    Welcome to the dictatorship

  4. The club as we know it is at one of its most dangerous times yet.

We are no longer run by a board, we are dictated to by Jacqui Low.

That same person has put none of her own cash either into the club, she now controls or the owning company that she now controls.

Whilst under her watch, not only have our own finances nosedived, but so has that of 3BC and a look at her own PR company Indigo has increasingly negative assets. Yet she’s positioned herself into supreme power.

She spins the handover of assets as a good thing, it was due to happen 28 months ago, and either 3BC or the club needs to find the tax to pay on it. Remember that when Propco was bought out by 3BC, the club as a stakeholder never received its cut.

She has surrounded herself with nodding dogs who don’t question, don’t challenge, and our so called “Fans Reps” on the board Alan Caldwell, John Penman and Andrew Byron should take a long hard look at themselves in the mirror, are they really fans looking out for the club for us or her playthings? It’s time to choose a side.

She is terrified of exposing the finances to due diligence and has taken todays stance because she’s been pressed, but it’s all coming out.

Jacqui you may think you’ve won the war, but you’ve not even come close to winning this individual battle, you’ve successfully created a growing collective that first and foremost wants you out, your disregard for the support was growing evident but your timing of the announcement 6 days before our biggest game of the season shows your disrespect for McCall and the full team.

You could have been remembered as the person who fulfilled Weirs wishes and helped hand over the keys, history will no longer be that kind you will be remembered the same way Master Bates was and respected to the same level.

Your time is up. Go now

Shady business going on behind the scenes?

That doesn’t sound Jacqui Low at all, who as we all know is a bastion of integrity. Nope, definitely must be some legitimate reason for our accounts being full of red flags.

It seems we may not be breaking even but have been relying on a £500k transfer/loan to do so

The wording is a bit strange. Financial commitments in a note like that would ordinarily mean they have essentially guaranteed that amount or that they will provide that amount in the future.

However, looking at the balance sheet, their cash balance is down from £1.2m to £0.3m.  This looks to partially be explained by the increase in receivables from £0.06m to £0.12m, which it notes related to interest free loans that were repaid post year end (presumably to the club). The rest appears to have been written off to reserves, which if it is cash that has effectively been ‘donated’ to the club, would normally be recorded as an addition to the investment value (which has not changed from year to year). Possibly just an accounting quirk or my lack of understanding of the structure but it does look a bit odd.

The strange thing is the assets have dropped nearly 20% Either thats a drastic depreciation or some have been used as equity

We were in a relegation position so I’m sick of us playing the victim card, if it had been called if we were a point at the top would we claim an unfair promotion??

Whilst its great we turned a profit that is only due to money left from Colin Weir being made available. That’s not how a sustainable club needs to be run

I'm more than happy to stand corrected, but the guy out on the swally with Neil Lennon (in Newcastle?), calling himself Duncan, clearly breaking Covid Guidelines, looks a lot like our Celtic blogging Director. Quite a lot of people on social media suggesting it's him.

With our Chairman having such public disdain for those who break Covid Guidelines, I'd imagine he will be asked to leave the club.

Will leave him more time to do Celtic podcasts

The rewards question I find really cringy and reflects badly on the guys involved. First of all, the reward is fan ownership. The ibsebtives suggested are so lacking in imagination, it's horrible. A zoom call with the players. Jesus!!!

I wish they'd stop comparing us with other clubs. Almost always bigger clubs. Every Club is unique, they will experience different issues based on their club, the league they play in, what country they are in, how big their fanbase is and even what got them to fan ownership in the first place.

As I tweeted yesterday. All I want from the foundation is a date. Set in stone when we are getting the shares handed over.

Shares and the ground (which was due 15 months ago).

She has had to deal with the relegation fall out after the livi game, relegation under acrimonious circumstances to say the least a pandemic and let's be frank, some people don't like her for reasons beyond football. Do I rate her as a chairman, not based on what I've seen, but am I willing to back the club during what is extraordinary circumstance, yes.

She was on the board (and apparently calling shots on behalf of Weir) the season we came down from Premiership, she was responsible for appointing Caldwell, keeping him after avoiding relegation by 1 game even though remit was promotion, responsible for announcing McParland park then reneging, responsible for keeping the playing budget effectively the same from Premiership till now and effectively wiping out our cash reserves, responsible for driving the biggest wedge through our fan base since the club was founded, responsible for total spin and shocking statements, she and she alone responsible for effectively the greatest shambles our club has known.

Tell you what, I'll start giving the Club money when they get a reality check and start running the place relative to the league we're in, instead of throwing money around like we are still a Premiership team.

    Deal?

    Absolutely spot on.

We still man and run the club like we are in premiership. Manager with 2 assistants, 2 coaches, a full time squad, an academy, and a women’s team.
We barely cut wages over last 3 seasons compared to how we are.

Our turnover dropped from 18/19 to 19/20 from £3 million to £2.6 million yet our expenses increased  from £2.9 million to £3 million in same period. Even with the £225k handout from 3BC we still lost over £100k, that was with 2 months of COVID and missing 5 home games whilst bottom of league, god knows how our balance sheet will look next May

We’ve just been handed a £150k grant. I don’t know what our monthly outgoings are, but surely that will plug the gap for a few months if there is no football for a while again.

If we are stuck in this league for next season, the budget should be made accordingly.

Did you see our accounts till last May? Is 3BC hadn’t put in £250k we would have nearly ran out of cash, and that was for 2 months of COVID. We had no games till October and reduced income from then, yet still full time with 3 on a management team and various coaches, etc. We still act like a Premiership team 2 leagues down

Without wanting to resurrect the 'shat it from Clyde' postponement chat, if we have decided not to use the undersoil heating system this season then, in my admittedly limited understanding of undersoil heating systems, I don't think turning it back on is a simple flick of a switch. BBC weather predicting -7 degrees overnight, I think there is a small chance this could be off. 👀

Also wtf are we doing to our players to have so many injuries?

You also need to rotate a valve. It does though need several days to defrost a solid park

  14. The problem at the club is deep rooted and extends further than the manager. The decline over last 3 1/2 years over multiple management teams with decent budgets shows the issue comes from the top. We’ve had various explayers treated poorly (Martin Keown talking about how his son was badly treated is the latest), Kenny Miller stated it’s the most amateurish club he had ever been at.
Our issues begin and end at the top, and that’s Britton and Low
