    Great time, well done! Watched it on TV- very jealous. What was different from the traditional course?
    You just drive down for the day?

    It didn’t go to shields
    It turned halfway but Mile 9- 13 was all uphill
    Was looking at sub 90 at 6.5 but the hills on way back just destroyed that notion
    Brutal
    Stayed at my mates in toon

    I had to come home from work today. Over the past week all three of my kids have had a sickness bug (but have all tested negative) but today it's got the better of me. However because my nose is gubbed up with snot I can't really smell anything, so I need to get a test before I can get back to work.


    My positive test was was basically after a blocked nose and sneezing
    Apparently delta varient presents more cold like symptoms

    My COVID passport on app (nhs England) disappeared after positive test . My isolation ends on Weds at 2359 but I don’t get it back on app until 10 days after PCR result according to them.
    Despite being clear of COVID.
    At minute it’s no drama as don’t need it but if I needed to show it I’d be annoyed that I couldn’t get it despite being clear.

    If I’d ignored nhs test and trace I’d still have it.

    Surely folk will just ignore test and trace if it’s going to affect them living their life (and following guidelines to the letter).

    I was working for a newspaper publisher in Berwick driving back from Scottish Borders
    I put on Mark and Lard and for first minute assumed it was one of their sketches.
    Called in at home and sat and watched it unfold
    Felt like the world was ending - was utterly surreal watching first tower come down

    I’m awaiting COVID test results after a positive LFT yesterday
    Pretty sure I’ve got it.
    Feel fine but my symptoms were nothing like what’s been so commonly listed.
    I had sore throat, bunged up and sneezing just felt like a cold.
    I did LFT as staying at mates and came back positive.
    On researching it seems the common symptoms have now been superseded by the ones I have (for example the much talked about loss of smell is apparently well down as a symptom that is presented)
    It’s a bit odd that nhs and gov guidelines don’t state this as I would have happily bashed along thinking I had a minor cold.
    Maybe I’ve missed it and it has been updated but certainly when you try and book pcr test it won’t let you unless you click one of
    High temperatures
    Persistent cough
    Change in taste/smell

    Two highlights for me this week - the look on Alan's face when he realised he'd done a Saville impersonation and the end where he repeats the dismissive grunts everytime Sam says "what?" and the "bollocks" at the end

    Eta - oh, and "truth, you can't handle the truth" scoff

    Liverpool Football Club can confirm that our involvement in proposed plans to form a European Super League has been discontinued.

    In recent days, the club has received representations from various key stakeholders, both internally and externally, and we would like to thank them for their valuable contributions.
