how far along is your green bar?

Seems a pretty unfair method, let a few lucky people fill their boots with tickets to as many games as they like.

who wants to go to the games anyway

So annoying, tried on my phone 10 mins later. now have a slither of green at the left of the bar.

Disappointed in the skittery farts, their fans watching Aberdeen Hibs last night were so confident their team was a level above. Looked pish to me.

Should win. Nightmare to get to though. When is the second round draw?
5 and a half hours each way from Edinburgh via Helsinki. £275 return with Finnair at the moment, could be worse.

Under the new system starting this year more club coefficient points are being awarded in the Qualifying stage. So, if Aberdeen go out in QR 2 this season they'll get more points than they did being eliminated in QR3 in previous years. Meaning they have a good chance of being seeded in QR2 if they qualify again next season. From UEFA.com
For matches up to and including 2017/18
UEFA Champions League points system
First qualifying round elimination – 0.5 points
Second qualifying round elimination – 1 point
Group stage bonus participation – 4 points
Group stage win – 2 points
Group stage draw – 1 point
Round of 16 bonus participation – 4 pointsClubs are also awarded an additional point if they reach the round of 16, quarter-finals, semi-finals or final.
NB Points are not awarded for elimination in the third qualifying round or play-offs, since those clubs move to the UEFA Europa League and are awarded points for participation in that competition.

So where in the city could a stadium go?
Did they ever consider the huge swathe of grass at the top of King Street just before the river? As someone who rarely makes it up for home games nowadays I realise my opinion on the matter isn't that important but must admit I have my doubts about moving to a soulless arena in the middle of nowhere. It was always a good day out going for pre and post match drinks and walking to the ground. If they really must built it in the middle of nowhere then the stadium itself needs to be built without further compromising the atmosphere with shallow stands etc to appease the locals.

They've been updated again and they're back to normal. Somebody at UEFA must still of been hanging out their arse on Monday morning.

UEFA have just updated their rankings, not very clear how they are arriving at their totals as the numbers don't add up. Scotland and Celtic slightly up but the rest of the Scottish teams have slipped down the rankings. Hopefully an error!

Celtic are 3rd in Pot 4 as things stand so would require a few upsets to squeeze into Pot 3

No bother, I couldn't get my head around it either to be honest!

Ajax will not be replaced, but 3rd of country 6 (France) will get a bye to CL-Q4.
This leaves only 4 matches in CL-Q3. To fill the gap in EL-Q4 (because 1 less loser will enter there from CL-Q3) the Cup winners of 13 (Czech Rep.), 18 (Poland), 25 (Scotland) and 26 (Azerbaijan) will enter 1 round later.
Similar will be done if Manchester United wins the EL and ends 4th in the League. 3rd of country 6 (France) and 2nd of country 7 (Russia) will both get a bye to CL-Q4.0 -
I heard he's much of a muchness.
I'll get my coat.

I asked about this on Bert kassies forum:
QuoteOn the assumption that all 4 CL semi finalists will qualify through league position for next season's CL, is there a possible scenario where the Cup Winner of 25th country (Scotland) won't be moved up to EL Q2? Celta Vigo winning the EL perhaps?
In these cases no team will move up in EL-Q:
-EL-winner qualifies for CL-GS via their league. Still possible for Manchester United if they move up to 3rd place, far less likely for Ajax to move up to 1st place.
-EL-winner doesn't qualify for Europe via their league. Celta de Vigo if they don't end up on at least 7th place (6th when Alaves wins the Cup). Lyon if they drop below 6th (or below 5th if Angers or Guingamp win the Cup).
If the EL-winner qualifies for CL-Q3/Q4 or for EL, then there will be at least a spot open in EL-Q3, which will result in the Polish Cup winner moving up to EL-Q3 and the Scottish and Azerbaijan Cup winners moving up to EL-Q2. Czech Cup winners will also move up 1 or 2 rounds if the open spot is in EL-Q4 or EL-GS.So probably Ajax or Lyon are the favourable winners for Aberdeen as things stand

I would prefer St Johnstone to finish third, but care more about Aberdeen finishing as clear in second as possible.
Are The Rangers actually allowed in Europe? Thought they had a five year ban or something.Nah, they weren't eligible to play in Europe for 3 years as a new club. The ban was one of the fictional penalties listed by the "we've been punished enough already" crowd.
