  1. Oh and here is the 'they' that are coming to TNA.....
  2. When was that photo taken? I saw him in Aberdeen at the housse show two weeks ago today and he had quite the gut!
  3. R-Truth is just dreadful! He also must be one of the worst rappers ever! He looks like a fanny and wrestles like a dick. And Eve's jumping about is cringeworthy. Ah but it's 'they' that are coming. So it would need to be Jericho and at least one other. Also surely Jericho would have a non compete clause for 90 days if he left? Im willing to bet that this will all be a massive disappointment.
  4. God I despise Cena. His promo was exceptionally bad, and some of the most unfunny stuff I've ever heard. What a total fanny. And I hate his comebacks in the ring; that jumping shoulder block thing is just awful. What a tosser. And I hate how easily he can batter members of The Nexus. I just don't like anything about him.
  5. What was the point of having the Angle - Hardy match when the outcome was what it was? Utter nonsense! And Bischoff didn't need to come out at all; pointless ego stroking and TNA need to get rid of him ASAP, likewise Hogan. Dixie is a dreadful TV personality, mainly because she lacks just that; personality. She comes across as being as charasmatic as the toilet bowl. Take her off TV ASAP. Who were those guys Abyss 'branded'? So we find out at Bound For Glory who 'they' are then. Does anyone have any idea or clue who 'they' are? And I was begging for Fortune to batter f**k out of Tommy Dreamer. His arse kissing promo was rank and made him look crap! Glad they rat packed the wee hoor. Kendrick too. Although Morgan may get punted from Fortune after the loss.
  6. Matt and Jeff to reunite on Impact? Team Eatstreme? R Truth is just an annoying fanny with his stupid hair, clothes, rapping and moves. I hate him. The end of Raw was w**k. Nexus made to look like utter clowns.
  7. Ah. Not sure where I got the idea of it being a choice. Hold on; why then do the winner 'cash it in' if they get both?
  8. Maybe Im talking pish, but did the MITB briefcase not give the winner the option of a title shot or the money itself?
  9. Moss is huge! There's a bit on him in this month's FSM.
  10. Whilst flicking through the tv last night, we noticed that there were a lot of 9/11 type programs on. To which the bird said; "Oh 9/11, did that happen in November 2009?"
  11. Was at the WWE house show in Aberdeen last night. Lots of empty seats; maybe tonight's will be busier? Loads of kids wearing their Cena and Mysterio garb, even though neither would be appearing. Here was the card: MVP vs Dolph Ziggler Massive support for MVP which I found suprising because I think he's awful. Only McIntyre got a bigger reaction all night. MVP 'double dog dared' Ziggler to put the IC title up. After much faffing, Ziggler refused. This was a short but competent match that MVP won. Lots of comedy overselling from Ziggler. Alberto Del Rio vs Matt Hardy Someone in the crowd had a 'Matt Lardy' sign, to which Matt showed off his torso. After he took off his t-shirt, you can see that the man actually does have a bit of a gut, like an aging boxer. Hardy had a lot of fan support here, but Del Rio was only booed when he did heelish things. Think a lot of the fans still don't know who he was. Del Rio said he should be facing Kane for the title, then laughed about how he put Rey in the hospital and said he'd do the same to Matt. He didn't, but he did win this decent match with his spinning armbar type thing. Jack Swagger vs Chris Masters The announcer billed this as an 'ankle lock vs master lock' bout, i.e. a submission bout. That didn't stop the ref from counting the men out when they were on the outside! Pretty good back and forward bout that saw Masters try to get the master lock on Swagger but fail a few times. Swagger won with a play straight from the Kurt Angle play book with a roll through counter into the ankle lock for the tap out. Cody Rhodes vs Drew McIntyre Before the match, Rhodes tried to rile the crowd by claiming how great America was. He then started to sing the American national anthem, only to be interrupted by Ziggler. Ziggler agreed with Rhodes about how great America was, and then he tried to sing the American anthem, only to be interrupted by Swagger. Swagger then agreed with them both about how great America was, and then all three of them sang the American national anthem very poorly. Amusingly they all needed the words written down. They were interrupted by a kilt wearing Drew McIntyre, who was the most over performer of the night. He said some nonsense about how there were three of them and just him, but he's Scottish so he's mental. 3 on 1 beatdown until the ref made Swagger and Ziggler go to the back (incidentally the three of them would make a great heel stable). Drew promised to make Rhodes wear the kilt after he beat him. Good match that Drew won with the Futureshock DDT. He then rolled the prone Rhodes up in the kilt, and when Rhodes 'came to' he was aghast to be wearing it. INTERMISSION Loads of crap. Ashley threw t-shirts into the crowd and we were told about all the upcoming WWE events. Woman's match Dreadful. It was Layla against someone, perhaps Kelly Kelly? I don't keep up with the 'Divas' because they're awful. Layla had her half of the woman's title. She lost. CM Punk vs Christian Some amusing prematch banter here. Christian was quite over with the crowd. A bit of a slow start here, but it picked up. Christian nearly hit the Killswitch a few times, but was always denied. Punk won with the Go To Sleep. A feud between these two could be decent as they worked well in the ring. Kane vs Big Show (World Heavyweight Championship) This was announced as a street fight. It wasn't really. In fact it was pretty rank. Both plodded along, and the stipulation was nonsense. Only one pinfall was attempted outside the ring, with Kane getting a 2 count on the ramp. Kane tried to introduce a kendo stick, but Show took it off him and snapped it half before throwing it out of the ring. The 'action' was slow and pretty dull, as you would expect from these two. The finish came when CM Punk handed Kane a chair, who delivered the weakest ever shot to Show's stomach, before DDT'ing him on the chair. Afterwards Show punched out Punk after the old 'doulbe cross' (he offered Punk his hand then hit the big punch).
  12. Anyone else going to see the WWE show at the AECC on thursday? The bird got me and her tickets so I'll be there!
  13. Seemingly that was because Hogan refused to HBK over in the planned rematch.
  14. Fact: the character of Niko Bellic from GTAIV was based on the real life exploits of Vladmir Koslov. Expect a sequel soon where you have to enter the WWE as a supposedly monster heel being pushed to the very top.
  15. I was just guessing that Kane is the Nexus leader. Why is Primo a mentor for NXT season 3? I thought he got fired?! And all the rookies have disappointingly normal names. I was wanting names like Tits McGhee, Vadge Tastic and Henrietta Hoor.
  16. That sounds rank! Perhaps they're trying to make something of the women's division seeing as they're unifying the titles? Most likely it will just a very thinly disguised 'Diva Search'. Didn't realise that Haas and Benjamin were going to ROH. Hard to keep uo with things when you don't have a computer at home! Thought the common consensus was that they'd head to TNA to hook up with Angle? Also, Kane is the leader of Nexus.
  17. If Punk goes solo, will Gallows and Mercury be punted? A good idea might be to have them as a tag team if Punk goes solo, as they both have experience of tag wrestling and WWE desperately needs new tag teams. Shame if the SES is split up soon, as it had the potential to be great.
  18. Serena actually looked like she could wrestle in her match, unlike the majority of the WWE 'divas' (I hate that term).
  19. Have to disagree. Thought his promo was terrible. He really should just get taken out back and shot. In wrestling terms that is. I'm not actually saying that someone should kill him. I'm saying he should retire from wrestling.
  20. I managed to catch Impact as I was staying at a place that had Sky on saturday. Ric Flair just needs to f**k off immediately. He is a sad pathetic disgrace to his fantastic legacy. I thought he was going to die when he was ranting at Dixie and EV2, and he was speaking some shite. Clearly the man is a mentalist and will do anything to ensure that the spotlight remains on him, as proven by his breathtakingly ridiculous rolling about in the ring when Foley was talking. Dixie should just not appear on TV ever. She is a shite character and bland as f**k. No one is fooled; we all know it's Tara in the helmet. Jeff Hardy looks like he couldn't care less. I see he's getting nice and chubby; maybe in preperation for being someone's prison bitch? Bischoff and Hogan are tossers are should also leave post haste. Take all the washed up over-hyped ECW crew too, and scrap the storyline and use the fantastic pool of tremendous talent they have instead of this pish. In saying that though, Impact was decent. Some decent in ring action and plenty of matches. Fortune are good, except Flair. Aj finally seems to be at least competent on the mike.
  21. I believe it was actually Mr America, not Captain America, as calling a character that would get them sued to f**k. "There's one thing I'm not brother, and that brother, is Hulk Hogan brother!"
  22. I was in HMV yesterday and nearly purchased the Tagged Classics that had Rumble 99 and 00 on it. I instead got Rumble 07 cos it was only £7. Disappointing because the Rumble was so rushed. It got me thinking though that surely Taker will retire at Mania 27? If so, who would he face? I would go for either Kane in an end to their feud (HIAC perhaps?) if the rumoured feud happens, with Taker to win. The other option would be Taker/Cena, with a Cena WIN and finally a Cena heel turn. Anyway, 2000 was indeed an exceptional year for PPVs. The Rumble was exceptional and as mentioned the undercard was superb. No Way Out was good, with Foley's first 'retirement' in the HIAC match with HHH that was tremendous. Rock and Show had a decent match considering the Big Show was involved. The storyline really made that match though, although it was rendered meaningless when Show ended up being in the Mania main event anyway (so did the supposedly retired Foley). Mania itself was good, and the crowd were furious at the end with the ring being pelted with garbage. Backlash as noted was incredible, mainly due to the main event. When Austin's music hits the crowd go insane! Judgement Day was good, but it's worth noting that at first the crowd didn't realise that it was Taker because he looked so different. Can't remember too much about the rest of them. I think Full Loaded was Rock/Benoit. KOTR was the 3 on 3 affair (Rock/Taker/Kane vs HHH/Vince/Shane I think) whereby somehow the Rock managed to become the champ. Angle won the KOTR. Armageddon was that 6 man cage match was it not (Angle retaining against Rock/HHH/Rikishi/Austin/Taker I think?). Ah Summerslam. Rock/Angle/HHH but ended up being HHH and Rock for most of it due to Angle getting knocked out when the table collapsed. Can't remember much of the undercard but remember it was ace.
  23. Slam Master J was Jesse, from Jesse and Festus. Awful tag team and awful gimmick. Who've had thought that Festus/Luke Gallows would have been the one to be kept? And all this ECW tribute stuff from TNA will not get them what they want, i.e. an increased fanbase. Certainly it will interest those who are already fans of TNA, and may even bring some fans who are ECW fans but not into TNA. In the long run though it just won't work. There was a reason ECW was the number 3 promotion back in the day. It was wildly popular amongst its own fans, but as mentioned catered to a niche market. It also shows that TNA 'creative' are just simply incredibly shit. First they try to bring WCW, now ECW?!
