There's no real reason for Aberdeen.

I actually dig Dundee United's away uniforms. Others may see them as pish (did I get that term right?), but I like them (and purple is the color of my university).

    1. Savage.

    2. We'll have to nip this in the bud pretty quickly. They are strips. Granted I give it a few years before that are commonly referred fo as "uniforms" but I will fight this fight.

    3. Spot on. The phrasing, that is. Not the strip, because it's an absolute stoater.

If you want to support a team without any of the fun and joy associated with football I suggest Clyde. Eternally shite, look to our rapist star striker like a god and if you speak about it you might be lucky enough to get a message off another Clyde fan asking "how would you feel if your son was accused of rape?"

There's also the added bonus of being so detached from the club that some years you can get right through to March before you even bother to check the league table.

Failing that just start a Football Manager game footering about The Championship and after a couple of seasons you might land a decent job and develop an affinity for one of the teams. I have a soft spot for St. Mirren for that very reason despite Paisley (where they based) being the stuff of nightmares.

Did you leave said shop or just stand there silently fuming, in this very much real scenario that definitely happened exactly as you described it?

Buckled reading that again - a woman in "full NHS gear" walked into a shop wearing a mask and then took it off when inside 😂😂😂 I would say you couldn't make it up, but someone has!

Aye mate I made the whole thing up so 4 c***s on a fitbaw forum give me a greenie. Fuckwit.

"Full NHS gear". Have you ever encountered an NHS employee? You're not gonnae believe this but some of them even wear trousers and zippers with NHS on them!

Bet you're the sort who sits tagging DHOTY on twitter hoping yer tiny wee boaby pokes out enough for you to see it.

Just been told the under 21s have folded. I'm assuming this is something that's going to be standard across the lower leagues, if it hasn't started already.

I follow them on Facebook and they've been signing players over the last couple of weeks so be surprised if that is correct.

Nah it's true. Was a shock by all accounts but I've been told off someone who's just been told their job is gone.

  4. Had my dental appointment on friday to try and sort out this dry socket nonsense.

Stuffed the hole, antibiotics and a pain killing mouthwash which works like a charm for 20 odd seconds.

Anyway the gauze has buggered off and I'm back to square one meaning I'll be back there on Monday (hopefully) to repeat the process all over again.

    Great days.

Work colleague, 21 years old, told me today that he never carries a mask as he "doesn't see the point" and nobody has challenged him on public transport or in shops, so he doesn't bother wearing one.

I'm sick of this shite anaw.

In a roll shop earlier and I was the only person in a mask. No one behind the counter was wearing anything except the lassie on the till who had gloves on.

A woman in full NHS gear comes in while I'm waiting and walks up to the counter, tries to order then goes "see this stupid mask", takes it off, sticks it in her pocket and orders her food.

My maws man works on the buses and says hardly anyone wears them and if he questions them he just gets abuse. He was the one that told me at the start of lockdown that Firstbus had no masks, hand wash or anything & told them if they post about it on social media they will be sacked.

Don't get me started on the b*****ds that cut about shopping centres with a mask on but folded under their chin so they can speak. Clueless.

No very often there's anything to get excited about when it come to the national team.

There's excited then there's "I have been right about literally everything." egotistical nonsense which deserves to be put in its place.

Aye well if I've learned anything from being on here and twitter it's that everyone is always right all the time.

He's apparently a horrendous individual though, and if only a quarter of the allegations are true then AEW are well rid. I used to quite like him as a wrestler. He seemed quite sound in the second ICW BBC documentary when they go down to London for some award show.

Turns out he's a dreadful scumbag who needs psychiatric help.

Thing is a lot of these guys created their own wee society. I've been pals with a good number of the ICW stalwarts going back almost 20 years since my mate from school started training. From then I've been pals with a large number of the guys (less so these days since I committed to being a full time hermit) but what I did notice was that when you have so many bizarre wrestling fans looking to you like a god you start to believe your own shit.

Some of them were simply not used to people saying no to them and from there they created this wee society that I mentioned earlier where they are conditioned to believe they are much bigger stars than they actually are.

Thankfully only one or 2 people I consider good pals were mentioned in the shitstorm, and the only one I actually properly give a f**k about has been brought in out of spite. I'm saying hee haw about it on here but twitter during that few week was horrendous.

People out there who have been up to some seriously shady stuff (with evidence) are put over here, and anyone else who has anything said about them, regardless of evidence, are grouped in with them because it's Twitter and "well he said this and i believe him and I'm right so you're actually the devil".

One good thing to come out of it is that my cousin has been training and working shows for a few years and he only told me a month or so ago that someone who I considered a very good friend was using him as some sort of mental punching bag.

What people need to remember is that as much as these people run in the same circles for the most part, THEY ARE NOT ALL THE SAME. If you seriously believe every single one of them knows everything their peers are up to then you are deluded. Going by that logic one day one of your friends will be outed for something, be it outright criminal behaviour or something that's just not cool, then surely you're just as culpable because you're their friend?

No, of course you're not. That's insane, but that's twitter. People need to stop believing everything they read.

This is not to say I'm defending anyone here because these people who have been accused (with proof, either in the public domain or soon to be) can get so far to f**k, but I'm not going to jump in the crowd because one person has something bad to say about someone.

I read so many things by people who were absolutely desperate to believe everything that was written to the point they've made absolute arses of themselves on twitter and they don't even know they are happily gobbling up bullshit.

Anyway I don't know what happened to this post. Anyone who has any ideas of messaging me to get some gossip can f**k off just as much as these fuckers who have been outed that should be in a cell.

I haven't seen him anywhere else but from what iv read, he's only good in death matches etc. He's bang average in the ring and is evidently an arse out of it. The only thing that kept me watching his matches was when he was paired with sabien because penelope Ford was at ringside.

I've been in his company a couple of times over the years and found him to be a wee p***k

It seems like Jimmy Havoc and Bea Priestley have both quietly been released.

I've seen a few rumours that quite a few of their roster only signed one year deals last August, so a few more might be cut in the coming days.

Haven't watched any AEW at all but how Havoc gained employment over there is beyond me.

    He. Is. Shite.

Whenever he was on a show I was at that was fag time for me.

The drummer is a glorified metronome!  A drummer with bad timing is a bad drummer.

You might be playing open handed when using the high hat for your timer but if you can still do that well then it doesn't matter.  You will be cross handed when using the ride as a timer.  Presumably you are left footed too.  Using your foot on the high hat for a timer will be different to someone who is right footed.

Well I'm a bit weird. Left handed at everything except golf, where I'm right handed but I'm comfortable enough using my right foot for the kick.

I doubt height should really be an issue

It definitely will be soon. I have a gammy back and need the stool up high for my ridiculously long legs to comfortably use the pedals, but the snare is locked in place and is practically under my bollocks when playing.

Again, not a huge thing because it's just for learning and I can build something to give it a few inches so I'm not massively bothered, but with my back if I don't sort that out in the next few months it will end up causing more bother than it's worth.

Also nobody told me about the numb arse.

These trousers annoy me. 15 years ago if anywhere sold anything like that I would have been all over it. My pals slagged me for dressing like a granda and f**k a duck, half of them cut about wearing them these days because it's "trendy".

Also if I did find them in 2005 they would be up to my shins, but for a legitimate reason because it's a bugger trying to find a 36 inch leg.

Again, I fucking love those trousers. I was born in the wrong decade because I would love nothing more than to cut about like 1970's Bee Gees.

They are socially acceptable(ish) versions in the picture and I would get some but I have 4 pairs of trousers and that's plenty. Once trousers go on me they just become legs.

My immune system is also shite. I've put our 2 back. Youngest has been back at nursery 2 weeks now. So far so good. I'm nervous but had to be done as we are both working from home and it's getting harder by the day to keep them entertained and work.

I'm hoping with most people's hygiene improved, kids constantly washing hands, toys being cleaned at nursery etc there will be less chance to pick up bugs. Maybe I'm just being optimistic 😅

Glad to see you're doing alright (I assume). Noticed you pop up here and there over the last few years on various things.

But aye, as for hygiene... I sat and spoke to my 2 older boys on the way to school yesterday about keeping on top of things, not touching shite you find lying about and all that gear.

Literally seconds later the one who I was giving the talk to (oldest is sound. Knows the score) sticks his fingers up his nose then fucking eats it.

    What's the point?

Anyone looking to inspire their 5 year old should show them this young chap.

That young lassie that was on that advert is brilliant as well. She popped up on my twitter a year or so ago and she's fantastic.

Anyway, turns out Some Kind of Monster is great fun to play.  My legs don't want to get involved at the fast bits but still, I've been playing for a day and even then I've maybe had 3 hours all in on the thing

This isn't right. Get her to speak to her Union rep.

We're allowed to wear masks if we want, indeed I've been wearing one when maintaining social distancing is impossible, both around pupils and staff.

Aye I told her that seemed dodgy when she mentioned it. I'll need to ask for an update but she's not the type to blindly do what she's been told when it goes against everything that we've been advised to do for months
