  2. You'll find some post match stuff on our socials, but no match highlights.
  3. Highlights confirm my memory. Gray is the end of the wall that Hogarth uses to line up to cover his bottom corner. Gray then steps out to cover Taylor, leaving the bottom corner easier to hit. Then, having stepped out to cover Taylor, he doesn't actually bother covering Taylor when Taylor goes in looking for rebounds (as all good attackers do), thus leaving Taylor free for the finish when Hogarth spills the free kick back out into the box. Biggest mistake of the whole lot is obviously Blair needlessly losing possession in midfield, leading to Crighton giving away the free kick. All basic stuff.
  4. 44 years ago, but the content could be right now.
  5. Cos we are a massive club with cross-border influence, obvs. Seriously, I don't know. Alex Wright was well known and well connected, don't know if that's it. @O'Kelly Isley III, @microdave, @Silverton End? Edit : judging by that handshake, though...
  6. Him and his pure beamer got huckled up the tunnel by a steward, and so far as I know he wasn't seen again. Never got it on film, but it happened pretty much right in front of me. Guy came flying down the stairs, across the walkway and hit the wee gate at waist height. Made no attempt to use his arms at any point, so top half kept going, and he flipped over to alternative vertical (head down, feet up) like a WWE wrestler was slamming him. Ended up flat on his back on the outer part of the astro. Certainly had had his money's worth in hospitality.
  7. Will need to wait to see it, but I think Gray also contributed. Hogarth lined his wall up with Gray at the end covering the post. Gray then was conscious of Taylor lurking around wider right, so stepped out to cover, leaving Hogarth's left post more open than should have been. I think, as I've said - will need to wait to see video to confirm if my memory is right.
  8. I think Carlo Pigniatello moving into the middle of the park had a lot to do with this.
  9. Also, the one sub Faz got right wss taking R. Wallace off - he too was also on a booking, and was still involved in a bitching match with Taylor for ages afterwards. He wss going to end up on a 2nd yellow too.
  10. I was sitting in the stand near to where Blair's 2nd yellow happened. Notwithstanding the fact that it was a cynical tackle that nearly always draws a yellow, Blair also gave the ref some verbals for blowing the whistle, thus repeating what he got the 1st half booking for.
  11. New player report, from my first time seeing them. Newbury - excellent, handled a very tricky opponent today very well. Lennon - not impressed. (Too) easily beaten a couple of times, lost possession too easily a few times too. Kelly - pretty anonymous, never did anything notable until 2nd half Healy - wish he'd started, did more in his short time on than Kelly had. Looked promising.
  12. Good summation. Only bit I'd slightly disagree with is that while not being bad , I didn't think Blair was outstanding either. Last bit is spot on, even if Stenny contrive to lose every game from now until the end of the season (which they won't) I can't see anyone else being consistent enough to take advantage.
  13. A stand up, front to back wiper obvs. Or a wrong-un, to use the shorter description.
  14. Because a priest vouched for him. Priests, that bastion of upstanding human behaviour.
  15. Guy on Radio 2 just now, got air time because "He's never had a day off sick since starting work in 1990" Got asked about it further, where he admitted "Don't get me wrong, I have gone in feeling unwell, and been sent home" Not really never having had a day off sick then, is it fella?
  16. We're so uncompetitive. #SackTheBoard #FazOot
  17. Love Troon, my granny lived in Wemyss Cres then Welbeck Cres. Many happy visits, beach, crazy golf, and then an ice cream drink in the Beach Cafe. Jumpers for goalposts, Ron Manager etc...
