There are a few more details that have come out regarding Shane McMahon's departure from WWE. Apparently, there was some sort of major argument between Vince and Shane. Shane yelled at Vince and said he was tired and had enough of his father. Shane then told Vince he was done with the company.

The word is that Shane is getting the "Randy Savage treatment" which means nobody is allowed to mention his name to Vince. He's also expected to be on the no-call list similar to Savage and Ultimate Warrior.

    wow :o

  2. I actually enjoyed Bragging Rights last night - all the better as it was 'free' on Sky Sports, rather than on Sky Box Office.

Yeah me too. I thought the main event in particular was a great match.

I forgot that it was a 12am start so I missed the first 10-15 mins before I had an "ah shit" moment :(

Batista's heel turn was awesome too

  3. Poor JR, he doesn't have much luck considering this is the third time in which he has suffered this attack.

Hope he makes a speedy recovery and hopefully he makes it for the Smackdown taping this week as it would be great to listen to him and the King on commentary again. Not only would be it great to see the duo back together but it also would mean not having to listen to the annoying Michael Cole.

I have some bad news for you then.........

  4. Was Matt Hardy ever really in shape? No. He's always looked terrible, but yeah he is piling it on. And has been said, his hair is fucking rediculous.

He tore his abdominal muscle a couple of years ago & had been working with it ever since until it got worse & his intestines exploded through his abdomin wall during a match & so had to have surgery.

so pretty much he's been unable to work out properly for the last 2 years & then his return from surgery was brought forward because Jeff decided to leave.

but yeah he could do with switching back to the trademark combats & maybe stick a t-shirt on til he gets into shape again.

  5. Just read this on another forum :(

As reported yesterday, WWE Hall of Famer "Rowdy" Roddy Piper was recently forced to pull out of a number of previously scheduled appearances as a result of a serious illness. In a sad update on the situation, I can confirm that his cancer has returned. However, this time it's believed to be terminal as he's not expected to live much longer.

According to a well-placed source within World Wrestling Entertainment, Vince McMahon has informed creative to prepare to scrap a segment or two for next week's Raw as he is planning on running a few video tributes honoring the wrestling legend — just in case.

Piper, 55, was diagnosed with Hodgkin's lymphoma in November 2006 after doctors found a cancerous tumour on a disc in his spine. Back discomfort had forced Piper to leave WWE's tour of Europe and return to North America in order to undergo surgery. In the weeks that followed, Piper spent the majority of his time in a local hospital, undergoing extensive radiation treatment in hopes of vanquishing the cancer that had invaded his body. While the cancer would eventually disappear, as noted, it recently returned.

  6. Did anyone else love Hell in a Cell last night ?

I count FOUR really good matches and some other solid stuff on there. Surprised by that. The main event was absolutely amazing and I can't believe that DX and Legacy topped themselves again. May well be one of the best matches of 2009, but the quality has been so good this year that I might have to rethink that one.

Just finished watching it, DX v Legacy & Morrison v Ziggler were great matches & most of the other matches were okay at least. R-Truth v Drew McIntyre was a bit of a stinker though :(

  7. He might have wanted it, but decided to do the selfless thing and let someone have it who can benefit more from it.

Remember that AJ Styles was doing a whole "I'm gonna quit !" thing. Sting decided that doing the right thing was more important than doing what he wanted.

so what's the point of AJ Styles vs Sting for the TNA World Title at Bound for Glory then?
