  1. Any time I saw Kerr play he gave the ball away a lot and generally never contributed much to the team. I don't think he's much of a loss. If he did slag off the Manager and big Jim then he deserves to be shown the door. The manager is the man who makes all the decisions and should be shown respect by all the players no matter what.
  2. This link has the story about Robinson. http://www.newsandstar.co.uk/carlisle-united/latest/carlisle-utd-aiming-for-quick-decision-on-ex-rangers-keeper-1.1110188
  3. Whoever we play in goals on Saturday, we also need a backup keeper in case of another injury, so Antell may be on the bench at the very least. I personally would stick with Jim as he looks as if he did a good job last night. By the way I heard a rumour that Lee Robinson is wanted by Carlisle Utd and has been training with them. Has anyone else heard this rumour?
  4. If only the Queens team played with the same enthusiasm. I think they could have learnt something from them.
  5. That is basically what I was trying to say. Just didn't word it very well
  6. I reckon McIntyre has destroyed Antell's confidence with his crap tactics & team selections. When I saw him play in the friendly at Annan he was talking to his defence and now he just stands there & doesn't talk to the team leading to defensive chaos & mistakes like the one he did yesterday. I also get the impression that the defence have no confidence in Antell either.
  7. McIntyre said he would drop any player who isn't performing. If he is true to his word then Antell should be dropped & Atkinson should get a chance. Jim needs first team experience & won't get it sitting on the bench every week. If he's not going to get a game he might as well not be there.
  8. I agree with most of what you say but have to disagree with your comments about the keeper & Dowie. I think although the keeper wasn't really tested he did ok with what he had to do, in the second half he was virtually a spectator. The same could be said about Dowie, thought he looked fairly comfortable alongside Durnan, I think they will be first choice this season & will get better the more they play together.
  9. I'm with you mate. Reckon we need someone younger who will be there s bit longer than 6 months. Wasn't impressed with Douglas the last time I saw him play.
  10. Thanks for the info. We'll need to be fitter playing against better teams this season, so I think we need to get a replacement.
  11. It says on the QOS website that Leishman was a Sports Scientist. What exactly does a Sports Scientist do? Do we really need one?
