Pictures of frozen windscreens and temperature gauges in cars. Who could've envisaged that it might get quite cold at the end of October?

Oasis/Noel Gallagher/Beady Eye songs...

Wife got a couple of seating tickets this morning. Not been to the Hydro yet but looking forward to checking it out. -
Gave you a greeny for mentioning Broken Social Scene. Was just listening to that album in the car the other day. Wonderful stuff!

Let's All Laugh At Celtic Thread
Shengus Khan replied to shull's topic in Scottish Premiership General Chatter
Apart from United. Our record at Parkhead is like something out of a horror movie and Hamilton's victory at the weekend only highlights how embarrassing our performance was there earlier this season. If Celtic fielded their under 10's against us at Parkhead they would probably still beat us comfortably -

The "prankster" in the Toyota Aygo advert is a total dick. -
He's listed on IMDB as appearing in episode one of season 2. He's the only name so far.

That's fucking disgraceful! It can surely only be a matter of time before somebody checks in from a funeral. Perhaps a cheeky little photo of a relative's coffin being lowered into the ground.

Got myself tickets for The National at the Usher Hall in July. Which is nice.

Went out this morning and managed 10k. Was hoping for 45 (ish) minutes but there was a brutal wind and driving rain the whole time. We also had a good bit of sleet over night so i had to watch my feet for slipping. Still managed a respectable 47 mins dead though which made the effort worthwhile. Bring on the dry weather I say.

Just finished the final season last night with a 5 episode sesh. Probably the most tense and exciting thing i've ever seen. I would describe myself as a bit of a fan boy of The Wire but I do think Breaking Bad surpasses it. Just brilliant tv and i am incredibly jealous of anybody who is about to start watching it.

First run for myself this morning in about 8 weeks due to a bloody sore foot (which I think might have been plantar fasciitis) and I've got to say that I was quite chuffed with my 5.76 miles in 44 mins flat. I've been going to a lot of spin classes in the last couple of months to try and keep myself in shape but there certainly is no substitute for pounding the streets. Nice conditions for it as well with very little wind and it being nice and cool. I'll give my legs a rest tomorrow and hopefully i'll get out on the 2nd and try to run 10km or thereabouts. I've only started running in the last few months so my main goal for 2014 is just to keep at it. I might try and enter a half marathon (I entered the Lochaber half a few weeks back but had to pull out) to give myself a target but as long as I keep running away and seeing improvements i'll be happy enough. I'd like to start doing a bit more hill running next year so hopefully i'll get myself entered in a trail race.

I have just read the same on my timeline. The first person to reply said: "He woz the first black ruller in Africa" *insert Patrick Stewart facepalm gif*

I'd get there early-ish tonight. The band came on at 8:30 last night but they were all mingling freely with the crowd pre-gig with their big heads on.

Aye it was a stoater of a night, got my photo taken with Win as well. Out of the new tracks i'd say Reflektor, Normal Person and Afterlife were the pick of the bunch but it was Sprawl II and Wake Up that were my highlights. Also, i've got to say that the dress code worked brilliantly and not just because there was plenty of tidy birds in the audience I'd say 95% of the crowd made some sort of effort and it certainly added to the atmosphere.

North American arena tour just announced for March and April then again in August. Wonder if they've left May - July for a European tour or if they're keeping it for the festival season (Glastonbury headliner?).

Aye, fair looking forward to this now. Dug out the suit yesterday which is airing away. Trying to decide whether or not I should go with a cravat and a buttonhole/flower thing to try and look a bit dapper. The downside for me is that I have to drive

The only people in Scotland raving about John Fleck were the idiots at the Daily Ranger and the Scottish Sun. Everybody else knew he was an average chub with a Monster Munch addiction. He's probably at his true level just now. Give wee Gauldy a bit of time. He's bloody good just now but he's got a wee bit to go until he's ready for the full squad. Give him 5 or 6 games in the U21s first to see how he copes.

Aye, and the people that post a picture of the thermometer in their car should have antifreeze injected into their eyeballs. The winter is a magnet for the morons. There are people who will post pictures of the winter's first snowfall. This in turn will lead to photos of "ma babs in the sna" as 3 year old Britney suffers hypothermia and a month of drowning in her own snot just so her mum can get a few cheap likes from similar minded pals.
