Crichton getting Edwards and Holmes mixed up there.

Where did he come from? He looks miles out of his depth.
He's actually looked promising the last couple of games playing centrally, wins allot in the air and had nice touches and better movement.
I'm not sure why we've then started him on the left.

I'm liking Pars' left back. He's dealing with Lawless without too much trouble
I've said it a few times but I genuinely beleive he's the best left back in the division, we turned down a 150k for him in January. He'll be gone in the summer.

Patrick Stewart would be better in goal.
In fact, f**k it, I'll be bold and say Colin Stewart, the old Morton keeper would be a better option.
Was he not really good for one season? Got a PoTy award.
Came back the next year and reverted to type and became shite again.

Hopefully that gives us a massive boost. Goals change games etc.

Christ, why are Thistle playing Ross Stewart?

If you don’t score at least 1 here Dunfermline should just call it a day.
We're going to concede at least three so it doesn't really matter tbh.

Not with Ross stewart in goals for Partick.
Not with Dunfermline attacking, or defending.

Quite frustrating how often we punt it up the pitch.
We have no idea how to progress the ball. The difference between us and Partick in that regard is stark.
We're a very bad football team, Partick will get a few here.

We are rotten at defending set pieces.

Two dodgy decisions against us so far.
There ye go, you've had a couple of dodgy decisions go your way now.

Been a good few brutal refereeing decisions in the Championship recently, and that's another one to add to the list.
3 minutes ago, PB1994 said:That’s a shocking decision from the lino.
The language here just seems really excessive, with the benefit of a replay and a freeze frame we can't all come to an agreement on this thread, how can it then be a shocking or a brutal decision?

Can BBC not even pause the screen at the point the pass is played?!
I still have no idea if it was on or off, tight either way.

Shot on target? We're class.

Bit weird how this guy from Livingston isn't starting especially with Comrie tearing his ACL and he's apparently more of a RB than CB?
Unfortunately, this could be a long night for us boyz.
Comrie has done his acl?! I'd heard he was in crutches but didn't realise it was that severe, has that been confirmed?

Mehmet

Todd-Hamilton - Otoo-McCann

It always give me the fear when going into a game, all the opposition fans are expecting a pumping from us. That always leads to one thing with thistle. A complete and utter struggle that all outsiders don’t expect.
Fans of all club say this, and it's always a load of pish.
People remember the occasional slip up against a poor side but forget all the times they've predictably came out on top.

Surely no one likes MOH are RWB. He doesn't himself and looked more comfortable last week at Right mid and getting wide. Granted the 2nd half he was marked tighter.
See Matty and Jak are in the squad tomorrow. Been Breen and Fisher are another couple of weeks away. Happy days.
Aye, if there was a positive from last week it's that I thought it was the best Comrie has played in ages, and the most comfortable MoH has looked.
I don't particularly get this signing.

Thanks, appreciate that. 2023 especially was an extremely tough time to be a Cove fan. Going back to your ex (manager) rarely ever works out and so we proved in dramatic fashion. A few poundings received and down on the last day of the season by goal difference in the dense fog. Never felt more deflated in a ground.
I really hope we can make it back to the Championship and make a fist of it rather than the feeble attempt we brought last season.
I'm almost certain it won't happen under Hartley who has proved with a "restrained" budget, and rightly so, he's less than capable of recruiting quality players and equally as poor as getting the most of out them.
We need a change, it feels stagnate. Will still need some cash being injected to get back up as our "fan base" will take time to increase.
Anyway, I've enjoyed watching the Friday night Championship games and going to a few in person when I couldn't get to the likes of Annan/QoS away
How's Burrell doing? I liked the look of him last year.

tbf cannot believe the vote for Gretna, is so small
Are Stranraer bigger than Cove and Brechin?

I wouldn’t read too much into that, midfield certainly not. CB, we’ve had so many issues at CB going through about 7 different options and he was never tried there, which would hint at him being very poor as a CB
Well that's worrying.

It says a lot that the general opinion of MWH to Livi fans is ‘youth prospect’, despite being 27. He’s been kept out of the team by Jamie Brandon who’s been okay, which may say a lot about the quality he has.
So is he a right back?
