  1. I was at this a couple of years ago. Heading back this year, Great wee festival.
  2. These days if I listen to Mogwai, it's Hardcore Will Never Die But You Will. I'm not their biggest fan but I love this album.
  3. Happy New Year Colin. I'm up for a Hip Hop version. Nothing older than 1990's from me though.
  4. This thread has reignited my love of electronic music and I've been discovering new(ish) music as well as rediscovering some old favourites. DNBWMHM was no2 on my list and was a worthy winner.
  5. Good show Colin. Best thread I've read in a long time and a worthy winner. I'm already looking forward to the next one!!!
  6. Come on Colin; you can't keep us hanging on. This like one of those unnaturally long pauses before the winner of a reality TV show is announced. You've gone all Davina McColl on us.
  7. This thread makes you dig out those forgotten albums that you haven't listened to in a long time. SAW is one of those. I may have to rip the CD or even buy it again mind you.
  8. Again, my narrower definition of electronic music has meant another album that wasn't in my list is possibly lower than it should be. I only put in music with electronically produced sounds and not sample based music.
  9. For some reason, I didn't consider Massive Attack. They are one of my favourite bands but I didn't class them as electronic and I've no idea why. Moon safari was top of my list though. Oh aye, I would also like to congratulate Colin on his excellent thread idea and quality reviews.
  10. I'm not usually into the noisier end of any music these days but Monkeytown seems to have grabbed my attention. Apparently they are about to start recording a new Moderat album.
  11. I would probably change my choices now. I can't stop listening to Moderat, Modeselektor and Apparat.
  12. I can't profess to know too much about the UK scene these days, so I wouldn't know if it was or wasn't poppier. I was just commenting that if poppier Hip hop was the trend then it was a bit of a departure from the past. I will have a listen to Example's and your stuff though.
  13. Changed days from the "golden era" of UK hip hop then when the likes of Gunshot, Hijack. Demon Boyz, Hardnoise and London Posse were anything but pop music.
