  1. £50 placed on under 3.5 first half goals @1/33.

Other £50 going on over 2.5 first half goals @9/2 (as it stands) at kick off tomorrow.

Same from me, but will probably give it a couple of minutes for it to go to 5/1.

Was swithering on over 3.5, but that's greedy

The way I see it, it's "nothing ventured, nothing gained. I'm getting paid £1.50 to have a crack at a 9/2 shot. Not really interested in winning 27 quid on a throwaway bet.

  2. I don't think it's about gaining the edge on traditional bookies as such, it seems more to me like the exchanges that take the bulk (if not all) of the trading.

I've no idea why an ordinary punter would want to sit and bet on the exchanges point by point on a tennis game. Which suggests to me that courtsiding drives a "competition" between syndicates where the winner is the one with the fastest, most effective Technology. If that's the case, then leave them to it.

  3. Put a couple of quid that was left in my 365 account on a goal being scored in each of some random Japanese league today, to pass the time at work.

Anyways, they paid it out, I put it the returns on another couple of bets for the afternoon, and it turns out they settled it in error, and reversed the payout a couple of hours later, leaving me with a negative balance.

Can they just do that? Never heard of that before....

  4. the bet365 offer is a throwaway for me. I take under 3.5 first half goals, and over 2.5 first half goals just after the whistle.

if it comes up then I'm quids in, if not then no harm done. I'ts worked for me 3 times since they started it.

  5. Yip by my calculations if you were to back both outcomes for £100 (winning £25 guarenteed as long as sprinter sacre won), the lay to cover your initial £200 risk would cost you £28 (assuming 0% commision). Therefore you are guarnteed a £3 loss.

fair point. Poor mental arithmetic on the hoof from me.
