I agree, Higgins is much better at centre back and tottally wasted at left back, but is that not where McIntyre played him at Dunfermline? We go 3 at the back with Holt and Mitchel as wing backs where do we play Carmichael who was fantastic on the wing last season.

I hope that the 3/4g pitch gets the go ahead, they are the future especially in Scotland. If queens want to train in dumfries then they can do that on the new pitch as well as rent out the pitch on non match days. Makes perfect sense. People try to say that on artificial pitches there is a strange bounce, having played on them the ball does bounce slightly different to a grass pitch but you are used to it in 5 minutes, plus the bounce can't be worse than the bobbles and divets you get on a grass pitch.

For me the player of the season is McKenna. Magic has transformed him from a dog to a quality midfielder, not only does he break up play but his range of passing has been excellent.

Agree with FC_1919. If the boy makes the grade the. Excellent if not we still have the likes of Smith, Rielly, Carmichael and McCusker(if he is ever fit). Millie has a lot of pace, an eye for goal and can finish great attributes for a striker, I don't see it as a gamble at all.

I'm happy with the appiontment. Magic has played at the top level and by the sounds of his comments he was just as annoyed by Gus' negative tactics as us fans. He knows the players here and can get started on building for next season straight away. Praise to the board in moving quickly to appoint the new manager unlike this season when it was left to late. Here's hoping Magic is the next Coyle, McInnes and Hartley etc.
