  1. He's in the top 5 most talented players I've ever seen play for us. Definitely worth a punt for 6 months. Hope he shows it for you (except against us lol).
  2. Feel like it's a risk worth taking for them. For me, this is a completely unnecessary PR own goal. Will also overshadow the Shinnie signing if it happens.
  3. I think Shinnie is a bit of a luxury player. If he signs, I'd have rather put his money towards trying to get someone like Nicky Clark.
  4. Daily Record reporting that Andrew Shinnie is set to sign a new 1 year deal.
  5. If he's anywhere near fit, I think he's worth taking the risk on as he is ridiculously talented. If he takes 6 months to get fit like last time, I'd be less sure of that.
  6. I probably phrased it in the wrong way. The worst distribution I've ever seen from a centre back who thinks he is good at distributing the ball. Nothing wrong with meat and potato centre backs if they know their weaknesses.
  7. Maybe he'll be better at this level but I wouldn't hold out much hope for someone who couldn't organise, couldn't jump, was ridiculously slow and had probably the worst distribution I've seen from a centre back. I suspect when he left that thought he could still get a Premiership gig which says a lot about his complete lack of awareness of his glaring weaknesses.
  8. I notice Prior wasn't on the bench yesterday, wonder if that is work permit related. Has Korboa played in any of the friendlies so far?

  10. Suggestion that Winter had an outstanding league cup suspension. Was in the last records on the SFA website but those were from April so hoping that there is a more up to date record we are using that doesn't include that...
  11. I thought he looked ok against Spartans in difficult conditions. Glad we have eased the concerns about depth at centre-back in the last week. I see he has taken Carson's squad number. Hopefully means we are close to moving him on, if Martindale doesn't fancy him.
  12. Boyes was not physical or savvy enough to make it at Premiership level at the time. He got bullied and caught under long balls/crosses frequently so I have no issues with Martindale initially loaning him out last season. I think there were comments on here suggesting issues with his commitment, missing games through 'illness'. That said, I agree Liviforever, he would have almost certainly done a better job than Devlin over the season.
