  1. Not condoning the throwing of objects at all, looked like the overrated kid spat into the crowd. Spare me the über fan shit also. Tapping into a subject you know little of. Questions need to be asked of the inefficient stewarding also.
  2. His claim “I’m the biggest supporter of our club as you know” was a particular highlight. Him and his Mrs are founding members of our Twitter groupies. Social media has a lot to answer for…
  3. Some interesting takes. A loan being solid strategy? Not sure the decision makers at the club agree when it’s been decided his development is best served around the first team environment for now. Lots of variables in a loan move also. I’m not sure why he’s being used in comparison to Donnelly? Very different types of players…
  4. We get it, you don’t rate Grimshaw. Not offered up any solution though. I’ll wait. And not for a back 5…
  5. Completely unable? What were their instructions? Neither were told to man mark by the looks of it. Grimshaw in all fairness was hung out to dry on the left of a 3. Dundee doubled up in wide areas fed by Adams spraying the balls which exposed our narrow set up. Stop that at source? Suspect we’d have had a more positive outcome.
  6. Therein lies the problem for me… learned little from two previous encounters. I can understand him asking the players to deliver same, there has to be cognisance of each opponent though - stands someone on Charlie Adam and we gain a foothold on that game.
  7. He’s represented by/represents same agency that several of our players are. Still well thought of.
  8. That’s not a red zone by current definition. The red zone is created to allow player movement within a stadium as seen v Aberdeen on Saturday. Earlier games had the opposition move downstairs and enter pitch level from the side of the South Stand.
  9. He’s been training/trialling with others, perhaps a case of waiting our turn?
  10. 3 at the back currently would be folly given there is zero pace. Think the rank and file should stop overthinking. 4-2-3-1? Just variations of 4-3-3 and 4-5-1 all which we’ve deployed given passages of play. It takes each unit working to bear fruit - we’re miles off that be it players, instructions & requirement to strengthen.
  11. How so? Energy shouldn’t be confused with ‘running around a lot’… Grimshaw’s energy and ability to force us up the park has been a miss. Nor is he asked to be creative.
  12. Just don’t get the hype. Offers little defensively having less discipline to protect the back 4 than those selected in front of him. Offensively? I’ve got it, some of our support’s penchant for those that run about a lot - when in reality he doesn’t get us moving up the park at any rate and incapable of any creativity.
  13. Genuinely interested as to how some base their thoughts on Mark O’Hara. Useful at what? You’re correct, he’s no world beater - is the midfield to be rotated just for fitness or offer improvement? I’m not quite sure Alexander would agree with your closing statement either - Crawford was regularly favoured over O’Hara when fit last season.
  14. The same Jon Obika who we passed up on before then reckoned Manzinga was a better option?
  15. I’m not making any comparison between the two players, both very different for me.
  16. I don’t buy that at all. We certainly have missed his energy that pushed us up the park more so than we’re capable of just now. Filled in at right back with relative success, I wouldn’t be surprised if Alexander sees him returning in a midfield role…
  17. He’s represented by/represents the same agency many at the club are.
  18. Whilst the landscape may have changed, the shorter term contracts aren’t always those offered, in many cases one year is at the behest of players/advisors. In some cases that won’t change…
