Tartan Army Euros discrimination row after UEFA insist on smartphone ticketing
I get his point, if you don't have a mobile phone then there is no way getting access to the ticket. Its all via the app. You can't print it off.
A perfect example of cutting your nose to spite your face. Does he actually explain why he can't get hold of a device capable of downloading the app? Does he have no friends or family with an old spare phone lying about for him? Does he not have a spare £50 to buy a really cheap Android device. I would assume you wouldn't even need to get a working sim either, as long as it could connect to WiFi at some point. If it is like the Ticketmaster app then you can download your tickets for offline use or add them to something like Google Wallet.

Nigeria having a stinker of a campaign so far.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2026_FIFA_World_Cup_qualification_–_CAF_Group_C
Played four so far and three draws and a defeat so far in a group that contains such teams as Rwanda, Lesotho and Zimbabwe. Still 6 games to go but looking at the setup 6 group winners go to WC26 and then the best 4 runners up go into a play-off. However the winner of that play-off enters the inter-continental play-off where 6 teams are competing for just 2 spots.

This isn’t a gaff
But getting the name of the Scottish top flight is (a minor) one.
QuoteThe Liberal Democrats manifesto would put Premier League games back on free-to-air channels, as well as 10 games from the Scottish Championship and 20 games from the English Football League, such as the Championship.

I see Sabbath are releasing a box set tomorrow focussing on the Toni Martin era called 'Anno Domini'
There's no mention but I'm really hoping it's frees up the previously unlicensed 'Tyr' for online streaming cause it's a decent listen and I've not heard it in feckin years
Underrated Sabbath period imo
Indeed it has...

I would have been curious to see what would have happened if Brechin finished outside the top 5 in the Highland League.

Might as well stick a few quid on Plymouth being relegated next season.

That's Xavi sacked, didn't even get the final game of the season.
Just read on the BBC that he will be in charge for the final game, Hansi Flick will be his replacement.

Well done reds thats some run going, 20 points from 24
Keep this kind of form up and we will be on about 92 points by this time next season.

Surely the bottom 3 this season have between them amassed the lowest points total for the relegated teams and Nottingham Forest must also be on course to survive with the lowest points total since football started in 1992.

How many seasons is that they have been in the 2nd tier?
Another season there for Schalke as well.
Next season will be their 7th in the 2nd tier. They've been very constant with their league position, every season they've finished either 3rd or 4th.

Hamburg stuck in the 2nd tier for another season.

No games yesterday as no football is played on 5 May in France due to the Furiani stadium disaster in 1992.
I missed a belter tonight as Lyon came from 2-0 down to beat Lille 4-3.
Watched Brest on Saturday night but ended up a 0-0 draw but not in an awful way.
Quite the turnaround from Lyon. I read some articles earlier in the season and they seemed to be a club in crisis and heading to Ligue 2 after just 1 win from their opening 14 games. Now they are just outside the European spots.
