It doesn't take a rocket scientist to see the plan. Move to Glenboig / Gartcairn; sell Cliftonhill; throw hands up in mock horror when the 10,000 stadium fails to get planning permission or local authority funding; sneak off with the cash.
It is a fake news story promoted by the Daily Record on the basis of their sectarian tendencies when writing about football. Simple as that. Next!

I see there’s a fair few fans complaining they never got tickets. How long has that terraced stand been “unfit for purpose?” Annoys me when clubs have stands in their grounds but can’t use them. Rovers have missed out on a bigger attendance because they’ve failed to fix that stand up. A waste.
It is not a stand. Stands have seats. it is called 'terracing', like the things Muirton had.

Queen's Park no longer exists: it is a franchise, having sold their souls to the Devil long ago. Gretna anyone?

This is now beyond parody: homeless QP putting a 'B' team in. Sporting integrity anyone? FFS.

How many Div 2 fans would look forward to “a good day out” in Coatbridge?
What point are you making here? Explain please...

Well all clubs are in receipt of as much details as they're going to get after the documents were sent out yesterday.
Time to start asking your club questions (general comment, not aimed at anyone).
If the Conference happens, then B teams will be in the SPFL in 5 years time IMO.
If the conference happens, 'B' teams will be in league 2 within 2 years at the very most.

I get that there is a sentimental attachment to Rovers, but playing a club 4 times every season is at the best repetitive, at the worst outright boring. The whole point of the “pyramid” is to freshen things up with new clubs, so outwith the b teams argument, surely new clubs in the league would freshen things up?
But that is the whole point: with 'B' teams, there is no pyramid system.

Elgin bigging up the appearance of Stevie Dunn yesterday, not sure I’d be drawing any publicity to a 52 year old having to play for them, not a great look for their youth development pathways and Elgin having also had a quite woeful season
Some of us in Coatbridge are less than impressed by this boasting. Reminds me of Germany v Austria in the World Cup years ago...

As much as I like going to Cliftonhill, that’s based on the game being a derby rather than the facilities on offer. It’s an absolute tip of a ground. Ainslie Park isn’t great either - they are trying though and the second stand being put up helps a little. I wouldn’t mind see Spartans getting promoted (they were the better team v Brechin even with 10 men) given the work that’s done in the local community by the club. The set up (from that respect) is tremendous. It would be a shame to see the Rovers drop though.
At least we have our own ground...

Thanks for the points guys, greatly appreciated. If only we could play you every week. We will be seeing you next season. Ray McKinnon far too good for your small outfit.
Two points off bottom: yes, your place is clearly secured...

Interesting comment indeed: I thought we still had two matches to play?

The whole thing is absolutely horrrendous: the bigot twins will be in League 2 soon enough. Disgusting.

The whole thing is an utter farce and the 'pyramid system' discredited by the presence of 'B' teams. Beyond belief.

The 'Joe 90' theme tune is beyond cool.

Blimey: who taught you English? Rovers have had two title wins, three promotions, a 7-2 win v Airdrie, relegated Forfar in Coatbridge, a challenge cup semi and a Scottish cup quarter final. Yeah, really bumping around at the bottom indeed...
Oh, and a wee win v Motherwell in the cup. Shocking. Relegate us now.

I vote we play the 'Joe 90' theme tune every time this boy scores.

Thoroughly deserved win for Stranraer, who battled for every ball. Rovers were terrible.

Good luck tonight and Saturday. You don't want to join us down in the LL.
We would much rather you were back in the league. I miss my pints in 'Pairtners' before the game.

The Boghead pitch was vastly superior. Progress, huh?

I have re-named Benburb FC 'Govan true-blue Athletic 1690' and demanded the resignation of their entire board. I expect full press coverage to reflect the heritage of the Govan area.
