  1. Given that Livingston haven't been able to buy a goal all season it's a bit unfortunate to concede two. Oh well, on to the next one.
  2. How is Mathie going to fill the seven hours a day he was on the phone to Dundee United now?
  3. I fully expect Smith to be undroppable by the time the others are fit again.
  4. Also, to be fair, we would have a league cup if our opponents in the final hasn't been conducting a program of systematic wide scale financial doping In contravention of the rules and indeed the law.
  5. I remember going to the final against Hamilton and thinking our keeper (Purdie?) took about a week to get down at the goal. Not a fun day out.
  6. Injury prognosis is a fools game. He'll be back as soon as he can get healthy and whether that's considered early, late or on schedule is entirely a product of subjective expectations.
  7. Pure paranoia. As though Davie Martindale is sitting in the Spaghettihad offices desperate to know whether Ayr are starting Ashford or Murphy before deciding on his tactics.
  8. I don't have a strong position on whether Chalmers is a deal that needs to be waited out or moved on from other that to say it is the club's responsibility to get it right. If they eschew other options and ultimately miss out on Chalmers I have no interest in hearing how they 'tried' to sign him and 'didn't have time' to pivot when it didn't happen and therefore are somehow not responsible for a gap in the squad.
  9. Haha the club lotto numbers this week are 23, 24, 27, 28. Whatever system they've upgraded to, I'm not sure it's helping.
  10. This is why Paul Smith should be in the team every week. Seems by far the most comfortable receiving the ball from the keeper or a defender and distributing it.
  11. Maybe. Though some would say the performances last season never improved.
  12. The counterpoint to this is that performance is generally a better predictor of future results than the score.
  13. Not seen the game so no comments there, but Bullen saying "we'd have lost that game last year" is nonsense. They pulled out all sorts of unexpected results last season.
  14. All the sceptics in here away for a humble pie at half time?
  15. I sometimes think when McAllister is at RB and Reading at LB that when Murphy tucks in and Reading bombs on that, until Reading gets back upfield, McAllister could/should rotate round to make it a back 3, with the two central midfielders shifting to their right to effectively make it a 3-4-3. Might be because I love a 3-4-3 though.
  16. Bullen seems like the sort of guy who would respond to criticism by asking the critic what level they played or coached at.
