Sunday will be no use as it's when we play in Stuttgart but that weekend the European Open in the darts is on in Leverkusen which isn't far for anyone interested. Slightly different day out to the recommendation above admittedly.

Yep, 6 of us booked for the Friday evening session. As if we will need another excuse for some beers!
35eur for table seats which was pretty good.

Aye cause it's a home game for you
This is true. I grew up a stone's throw from Firhill, will be parking at my Dad's and walking round to the game which is a nice change from the usual Saturday travel to EEP.
First football game I ever went to was Thistle 1-1 Hibs, opening game of the 95/96 season, went to about 4 more games and even got a Thistle top for Christmas. I saw the black & white light later that season thanks to my old man (I think the Christmas present was the final straw for him) but always like to see The Jags do well.

Agreed! Don’t get me wrong, I enjoy going to Firhill, one of the first fixtures I look for on the calendar.
But the Main Stand is a dump.

It's an old classic. Vintage. A standard bearer for Scottish football stadiums, with an ambience of its own.

They’ve not even started selling away tickets yet so pretty convinced we’ll be in the old main stand.
They were on sale yesterday for the Jackie Husband stand but the website is now showing 'Event not live' so would anticipate we will be back in the Main Stand when it reappears.
Onto the game, really looking forward to it. We will be full of confidence and Thistle will be looking to bounce back from a shocker last week, should be a cracker. Would happily play the same team that started on Saturday given the performance in the first half.
2-1 Pars.

We took 811 to Hampden for the Queen’s Park game 10 days ago and have won our last two games playing some great football. Appreciate the Hampden factor may have played a part in some fans travelling, but I would be amazed if we didn’t have a similar number planning to go on Saturday.
if the capacity in the JHS 500 I can see us being shoved back to the Main Stand once the tickets start to shift.
Nice early crowdwank to start the day.

Could this be pinned?

Are we in the old Main Stand again I take it? Not a huge fan if we're getting stuck in there but yesterday has me thinking of heading through.

Going to take some stuff to our son in Glasgow later (His halls are close to GWR / Byres road).
Recommendations for Sunday Roast appreciated.
I know Oran Mor does one, as does the Curlers Rest, no idea whats good tho.........
The Duke's Umbrella on Argyle Street would get my vote. Been for Sunday Roast 3 times, not been disappointed yet. £30 for two courses which I felt was fair for the food we got.
Twice there was live music and once there wasn't, so not sure if that's a regular thing. It's just on the outskirts of the City Centre so would recommend if you're willing to travel the 10 mins from Byres Road.

Would imagine this and the Spain game to both go on sale after the points table has updated following the England game, so around the 15th September would be my guess.

As a football fan I think you need to reserve the right for all rational thought to be ignored when it comes to the possibility of re-signing a club cult hero.
Would he play every week? No.
Does he fit the club's signing policy? No.
Is he going to take us to where the club want to be? No.
Do I want us to sign him? f**k aye.
I need to see one more 'Joe Cardle cut in and hit the top corner' goal at East End Park before I die.
