Why yous never created any more than us.I’m raging we’ve not won that to be honest. A much improved performance at least.
Who’d have thought Roberts might actually be decent? I’d pretty much written him off. Who’d have thought No nonsense Ricky and Magoalie would keep a clean sheet as our centre back pairing?
St Mirren seemed to struggle with our more direct tactics. Maybe they weren’t expecting it.0 -
We will not make top six that will be St Johnstone

I don't think we will win any of our last four games before the split.

Easy money thereNo idea how this will go, but have stuck 20 quid on an accies win to soften the blow if we lose2 -
You think so. If I was a bettingGot to agree with Pyjama boy above, cant see st mirren not winning this. Accies outright would be throwing your money away.
Man my cash would be firmly on Accies.0 -
No it wasnt
Aberdeen should definitely have had a penalty for the Erhahon handball.
I feel like I say it every week, the handball rule is shite, but it’s there and that’s a penalty.0 -
1.000000 % spot onThat is the bit that annoys me about players, regardless of who they play for and the ex players who make statements like, ‘he gave the referee a decision to make’, or ‘he’s entitled to go down if he feels contact’.
No they bloody shouldn’t and I don’t care if it’s a Saints players or any other team. It’s cheating plain and simple and it is spoiling the game.
If it wouldn’t knock you down in the street it shouldn’t take you down on a football pitch.0 -
Yous will be fine. No wins for weeks just wait untill St mirren role up we are the gift that keeps on giving when someone needs a lift. 3-0 DonsAnother Saturday morning full of optimism and hope. I wonder what the dons will do today to try and kill my soul.-1 -
How can you say that our home form is pretty shite. The injuries have come at a bad time, given the fact we'll have four home games including Hamilton, Motherwell and Ross County. We should collect nine points from the next four home fixtures, but with a depleted squad and possible formation changes it will be tough.0 -

See your. Man Stevie Mallan scored for his new club.

I do. We have just chucked it.Still holding out hope - I honestly thought we'd have gotten the guy we're after over the line in good time but it's clearly not gone at all to plan.
So whether we're onto other targets or just chucked it at this point, who knows?1 -
Even when we went 2-1up I was happy but not exstatic because like many others still expected Celtic to win because its what we are programed to except it was probably the least excited I have been for a win ever.Strange feeling being a Buddies these days. We have been conditioned to expect certain outcomes from both sides of the old firm.. Who didn't feel we had blown it when Rangers equalised with 3 minutes to go in the Cup or Cetic equalised on Saturday. I cannot remember a Saints team, picking themselves up and scoring so quickly. Normally the heads go down and stay there.
Certainly for me, my heart sank and though "here we go again.".
I am so happy to be wrong, is so wonderful!!

Because you need to subscribe to saints TV or be a season ticket holder to hear them otherwise you only get 30 seconds unless there on free view.Every week Jim provides at least two interviews on St Mirren TV and at least two players also are interviewed on St Mirren TV . What they say is then picked us by media outlets like sportsmole, BBC, PDE, NotTheOldFirm etc etc. However I have noticed that Buddies ask questions where the answer is already available from Jim himself on SMTV. Why do fans never watch the regular interviews?0 -
So you never watched motherwell play St mirren last season some supporter you are.To be fair I've never seen Foley play and he could be a decent enough addition. I get there's different constraints this year but last January we brought in Rolando Aarons and the year before saw the arrival of Gboly and Ross Mccormack (although the latter turned out to be pish).
It's hard not to be a bit underwhelmed by our signings this year.

Goes without saying but that result was a huge boost for our GD, too. Bit of a cliché, but that's effectively an extra point on the board there, especially when you look at the disastrous -GD that Accies and County are currently sitting on.
As long as we don't give them all back on Saturday.

Yes one of those that could have went anywhere."United Score Wonder Goal". Is it harsh of me to think it's really just a whipped cross attempted gone wrong? I'm just not sure that's what he was trying to do!-1 -
Where abouts is this interview.

Should be doddle for Livingston 2 or 3-0.

Was a Celtic supporter until my mid teens then just got fed up of the nonsense that surrounds the club/Old Firm. I got to an age where going to Celtic games and mixing with other Celtic supporters became a quite depressing experience, associating myself with people that I didn’t want to be associated with, and who’s life and mood revolves around the performance of the team. The mentality of some Celtic fans that the success of the team on the pitch somehow reflected back on them as a person has always been something I’ve struggled to understand, and when I got old enough to realise that was a very prevalent view amongst the support I stopped attending. I genuinely believe that if I was still going to Parkhead and supporting Celtic, I would have acquired some very toxic personality traits.
I live in Renfrewshire now and have attended the odd St Mirren game as far back as the days of Tom Hendrie, mainly due to the free tickets handed out to schools and also to the Boys club I played for as a kid. When I stopped going to Parkhead around 2010, a St Mirren supporting friend asked if I wanted to go to a game with him. Gus MacPherson was the manager at the time but it was close to the end of his tenure if I remember rightly. I tagged along that day and have been going regularly ever since. I think I just enjoy supporting the ‘underdog’ more, I know St Mirren aren’t the underdog in every game they play, and certainly not when they were in the Championship, but I much prefer the mentality of the fan who can go to a game every week, supporting a team not in expectation of a win, but only with the hope of a win, and taking everything that comes their way and still being there the week after.
Edited to say this account was made in 2008, if I was able to change the username I would.
I was the exact same I stopped watching Celtic when they were one of the best teams in Europe .I stood in the away end at love street watching Celtic beat saints 6-0 and something just clicked and I have been watching saints ever since as do three of my five boys with the other two having no interest in football.

Fucksake sticking money on Livingston for next week is an absolute no brainer the game will be done before halfway through the first half. Not surprised that we continue our abysmal record in Perth, we’ve been utter shite since knocking the tribute act out of the cup. If you like a bet then stick the smart money on Livi to win the semi-final at Hampden.0 -
Game on.

We won't be out our penalty box so wont need to worry about getting a penalty.
