The next 3 games will define the league season for Talbot. If they get through that run still in touching distance then I would put them as favourites.
Form team in the league at the minute.
The last 4 fixtures will likely be against teams with nothing to play for when these games come around.Beith defense is not the greatest, losing McGlinchey would have been a blow plus a few other players rumoured to be leaving. While Talbot seem to have none of that background noise.
A lot of teams will look at this season as what could have been. For us to take zero points from Meadow and Glenafton earlier in the year killed us. That was right over a really unsettling period for the club and no doubt it impacted the players.
I don’t think this seasons eventual winners will be remembered for being any sort of formidable force, just the ones who had a bit more resilience when it mattered.
The standard of the League this year is absolutely dreadful.
In saying that the standard of Scottish football in general is honking.

lololol, Honestly the crap people talk on here.
No he wasn't. Gormley was sacked with about 16 games to go or something like that to stay up, sure it was the Cumnock 5.2 defeat was the final straw and think it was January he was gone. The new guy had plenty of time as Kilwinning had games in hand when he took over, but the new manager brought back players who were out on loan who were not deemed good enough but Gormley and the coaching staff for that level and so it proved as fans were moaning about the players not good enough either. Don't think Gormley can hold his head high with Kilwinning but he should have been allowed to stay longer and try and get out fo the slump.
It was the committee, and new chairman, who got rid of him to early and chose the guy who did put Kilwinning Down
Franko making a james hunt of himself.

They have an allocation of 800, full segregation in place no access to club facilities i.e. toilet blocks or pie hut. Temp toilets will be made available for the away support. Tickets will be issued to Auchinleck Talbot to sell themselves and confirmation of tickets sold and payment of each of them must be made in full prior to the game at Beechwood. No tickets will be sold for the away end after the cut off that is set by our committee of Thursday 11th. Any unsold tickets will be made available to Darvel fans.
Every Talbot fan should boycott this.

it all stopped once he started his own profile, you defiantly accused me of being someone else about a year ago. But then you and the moppet who thinks of me a lot, are we cliques, feels like a little bit of deliverance, you support the same team or from the same area?
Why would i think you were Mick Kennedy when your nanes Franko?

Talbot got no appetite to go up at present by all accounts so would be interesting to see how they dealt with the play offs if they did win the league.
Better stop winning games then so they dont get to the play offs

Yes it is Frank Hill the new main man! JG is desperate to wash his hands of the club. It’s drained his business cash reserves which have plummeted.
Looking at Frank Hills business dealings it dosent bode well for Darvel....

Still not seeing the cash trouble you keep talking about. You haven’t proved anything except your own inadequacies.
1 minute ago, GIRUU said:Must be a different rhubarb that said well if only 1200 capacity then it should be a sell out so tickets. Where is that emoji for fanny . . .
Just now, rhubarb1974 said:The club literally put a statement out about money issues/budget over spends.
remember we were self sufficient?
so if self sufficient, we’re we poorly run?
Would i be wrong in thinking that GIRUU is John Gall?

Talbot tried to sign a Clydebank player in the summer and offered him double what he’s on FACT.
And?
Talbot have got money to spend.
I dont have any qualms with teams spending money its when they deny they are doing it that annoys people.

How much was Rossiter on at Beith?
Not as much as he will be on at Johnstone Burgh.

Why would Leishman leave Talbot for Darvel? The thought of Kilmarnock Pie?
The same reason as Nicky Low left Arbroath for Clydebank probably....

All those figures seem to be public on here at some point, even though they are way off the mark. Nobody is at Clydebank for the money, that is a fact.
I’m confident that our budget wouldn’t come in the top six in this league.

Then this confirms that you are a lunatic.
How much was spent on Truesdale,Graham and Collins?
How much are Little and Low on a week?
Must be one of the biggest budgets in the League.

Is it down to him as a person or his lack of ability as a football manager?
Both.

Absolutely.
Beith keeping right in the mix is a superb achievement.
Its an exciting and open league with loads still to happen.Just wish we were part of it but I will be happy if we can just stay safe as we are the definition of inconsistency this year.
Pollok will never do anything as long as Maxwell is manager.
