  1. Ted Leo & The Pharmacists : The Mighty Sparrow Excellent stuff
  2. Panda Su : Eric Is Dead My favourite current song. Next up ... Quasi : Repulsion
  3. Panda Su : Eric Is Dead LOvely track from darkest(?) Fife. Part of the Fence Collective and working with Steve Mason (Beta Band) should be enough for you to check it out.

  5. Animal Collective : Summertime Clothes Still sounding superb
  6. The Pastels & Tenniscoats : About You Lovely cover of The Jesus & Mary Chain track.
  7. Squarepusher : Male Pill Part 13 What the f**k was that???
  8. The LCD album is the only one I've played all the way through so far and it's pretty superb. I had heard a few tracks off it when it was first released but for some reason I never quite got into it. This was despite the fact that I loved the first album and was really looking forward to the follow up. I'm making up for it now right enough as it's on the hi-fi almost constantly which is the main reason the pile of unplayed cds is getting higher and higher

  10. Miles Davis - Kind Of Blue Current track : All Blues One of 12 cds I bought in the Byres Road branch of Fopp on Sunday. Bargains galore
  11. Pantha Du Prince : Splendour Downbeat German electronic music. Pretty chilled out stuff.
  12. Thanks Colin. Informative and interesting reply as ever. Cheers
  13. Is Tropical - When O When Now available on Spotify if anyone fancies a listen
  14. Just listened to this on Spotify. Any other recommendations for this type of stuff available on Spotify? Also you may be the right person to ask. I heard a track a few months ago, same type of stuff but I seem to remember it was someone from Glasgow/Scotland that recorded it. Any ideas? Edit: Mungo's Hi-Fi rings a bell.
  15. The Velvet Underground : Pale Blue Eyes One of my favourite songs ever. One of the few songs that fits whatever mood I happen to be in at any particular time.
  16. I watched THE HANGOVER last night. It's been reviewed on here before and it's pretty much all been said although I imagine the last reviewer probably found it slightly funnier than I did but a good movie with some pretty funy bits although the real laugh out loud bits are pretty scarce. 7/10
