Predictable result tbh. This team has no backbone and is being led by an absolute clown of a guy. I’m assuming Levein will oversee the play-off games but I want him gone when the season is done.

Unless you’re a fan of either semi finalist tomorrow then any sane / sound people will be supporting Dortmund in the Chumpions League final. It would be a victory for football.

This is probably the most disillusioned with Scottish politics as I've ever been. I'm sick of the SNP - especially after covid. When it comes to supporting a party, as someone who deeply cares about environmental / climate change issues then naturally I'd want to vote Green. Sadly the Scottish Greens right now come across as a bunch of absolute cretins. Alba are oddballs. The rest are unionist gimps. At this stage I've completely lost interest.

If Levein takes us down it’s time for him to give up managerial roles for good and return to his punditry / podcasts etc. He’ll forever be remembered as that guy who played a 4-6-0 and then got St. Johnstone, an established top flight club, relegated. Time for him to call it a day if that happens.

I don’t understand how in 2017 Buckie were eligible to participate in the play-off (they lost against EK) but in 2024 they are not. Have the rules changed?

Notice Buckie haven’t even released a statement on this. I think they’ve deliberately let this happen. Should be able to put Brechin forward instead. It’s tinpot stuff from Buckie.

A Buckie fan is telling me fans had an “open vote” about promotion to the SPFL and apparently they don’t want it. Not sure where the club stands on this. He’s complaining about the prospect of long journeys to away games and “mediocrity” in the SPFL. Sounds like he wants to support a big fish in a relatively small pond. Personally I can’t abide this weird mentality.

75 odd mins gone and it’s only 4-1, not the pumping required to catch Brechin on goal difference. I think Buckie will need to rely on Brechin dropping points in their final games.

Love to see this from Hibs. It really is a joy to watch ‘lesser’ clubs cut the OF’s allocation. Please stick with this decision this time.
Every club should be doing this. As I vehemently argue on a regular basis in the SJFC thread, giving the OF more tickets is a great way of alienating your home supporters in favour of a few extra quid. They bring nothing but complete misery both on (for the most part) and off the park. Simply put: People don’t want to go to these games. The OF coming to town isn’t some big exciting event like some in the boardrooms seem to think, it’s a day to dread. Would love it if my club grew a set and reduced their allocation to one stand behind the goal. Sadly our board are short sighted fools and will likely give them 3 stands while a sizeable portion of oddballs within our fanbase will argue that Saints will die if we don’t do it.
What do Hibs currently get at Ibrox, 900 seats? About 1.7% of capacity - which is ridiculous anyway. So give them 1.7% of ER (350 seats) and as others have said, punt them in the top corner of the top tier. Sell the rest of your stand to home fans.4
