  1. I don’t understand how in 2017 Buckie were eligible to participate in the play-off (they lost against EK) but in 2024 they are not. Have the rules changed?
  2. Notice Buckie haven’t even released a statement on this. I think they’ve deliberately let this happen. Should be able to put Brechin forward instead. It’s tinpot stuff from Buckie.
  3. It’s rare moments like this that you wish Rab was still about. If he’s reading this, GIRFUY. You lost the league at Goodison Park!
  4. The Buckie fan I’ve conversed with refers to the SPFL as a “wasteland” and that Buckie would go bankrupt if they went up.
  5. A Buckie fan is telling me fans had an “open vote” about promotion to the SPFL and apparently they don’t want it. Not sure where the club stands on this. He’s complaining about the prospect of long journeys to away games and “mediocrity” in the SPFL. Sounds like he wants to support a big fish in a relatively small pond. Personally I can’t abide this weird mentality.
  6. FT 1-0. You have to imagine Brechin will be disappointed not to add more. It’s a good result for Buckie. 5 goals without reply tomorrow night will send them top going into the final day. It’s doable.
  7. Who needs your #Barclays title race when you’ve got this? Love the Highland League man.
  8. Aye but I’m not convinced Buckie will get the goals required. Hope I’m wrong though.
  9. 75 odd mins gone and it’s only 4-1, not the pumping required to catch Brechin on goal difference. I think Buckie will need to rely on Brechin dropping points in their final games.
  10. Pretty mad how that bridge was given the green light. Very high up, in a valley and no protection from the elements. I'd hate to be a lorry driver crossing it on a breezy day.
  11. I was sat in the parliament gallery watching history being made. A glorious moment. Finally some proper legislation for an industry which has enjoyed being regulation free for far too long. Going to be interesting to see how the shooting estates manage to comply with the legislation (not very well I suspect).
