Lucky c'nt. I tried to get a ticket for this but it sold out. Doves are by far the best band I've seen at the shithole known as the Academy. Enjoy. Anyways, Idlewild at the Barras is next up for me.

Got tickets for the Glasgow gig on Monday. Just bought tickets for Dead 60s tonight. I only know a few songs but it's still better than a night in front of the telly.

Just had a listen to some tracks off Gemma Hayes long deleted Work to a Calm and 4.35 am EPs. Rather fine stuff. I downloaded most of Mogwai's Rock Action which will be up next.

I'm down to my last week and a bit of working in that neck of the woods. I'll miss my lunchtime excursions to the Variety however I won't miss being accosted by junkie bams from said hostel.
