IMO the Celtic and Aberdeen games are being postponed as a punishment rather than to limit the risk. If they’ve all tested negative then it’s not really a hightened risk
If the game is rescheduled after fans are let in , which seems possible, then it’s not much of a punishment when you get the added income through the gate and hospitality. And tv revenue as well.0 -
I’m not convinced the lack of fans will lead to any improvement in referee performance.
We are stuck with incompetence and guess work for the foreseeable until something fundamentally changes in how referees are trained/prepared.
I don’t know how that can be done, but something has to change.
Changes already, players not rolling around with fake injuries and getting up and on with the game.
Wonder if that’ll catch on when crowds are back.1 -
Young mason is a player but knapp is still the main man. Sandy's could not cope with him all day yesterday. Scored a great goal and terrorised them, particularly second half. He was fouled more than Jack grealish and by my count he should have had at least two penalties. Joe gold is a class act still as well. The amount of unselfish work he does is superb. Would like to see a heat map for him after a match
Knapp was being fed a lot of the ball from teammates so yes even they think he’s the main man. As for Joe Gold , nothing to add that hasn’t been said before.

Yes mate. Think Cunny's attitude on here has been poor this week. Just my opinion.
Can’t really argue with that, but guys heart in right place, watched. Shortlees today for first time in a long time and yes their hate for me is not a surprise.[emoji85]

As a former Referee who worked under Matt in the old Ayrshire region and met him at games later when he was working for the local papers can only say he will be sadly missed from both positions . Was a gentleman who will be sadly missed and am deeply disappointed that I only heard of his passing last night and was unable to attend his memorial service today.

I have two programmes( two different dates) from the famous Celtic v Inverness C.T. Scottish cup tie. first game on the Saturday was postponed because of loose guttering on stand.

I only heard second hand mate. So I don't know if it's true. Like you I'd be astonished.
I've heard since that Peter Leonard was at Saturday's match, so maybe it's a case of someone putting two and two together and getting five. Like I said, IF TRUE, it's a real shock.
Unfortunately for Greg and his back room team it is true. Astonishing doesn’t cover it, no wonder the club are quiet on the subject.
He had Craigmark at a level way beyond their means and are still looking at a good first season up there.

Just had a look at new book 150 years in the making , thought might have been more on re building Rugby Park(just an observation not a complaint). Anyone got any pictures of game against Blackburn ?
