  1. Airdrie recently seem to have chucked it just as much as us, with nothing to play for and most of there squad leaving I wouldn't go daft on your money.

Then on the last day we'll have Peterhead who will probably put out a weakened team with the playoffs imminent. No idea how that'll pan out.

Airdrie can still mathematically make the playoffs, they do have to win their last two games and hope both Albion Rovers and Stranraer lose theirs though.

  2. Quite simply Byrne hasn't progressed in the 3 years he has been in the first team.

Every time there is a battle in midfield he goes missing as this was evident to even Allan Johnston in the first match at Peterhead this season when he hooked Byrne after half an hour. Of course Falkingham giving away a penalty minutes after coming on didn't help but my point remains.

  3. Because that's what usually happens. They've put more income into the club so should be rewarded.

I know that's what usually happens but why should a season ticket holder get preference before a patron or a lifeline member for example? Just because someone is a season ticket holder doesn't necessarily mean that they are putting more money into the club. Someone who can't make every game might be making contributions to the club in other ways.

  4. Think we had 104 goals in 80s which is maybe our record. No idea how many games that was over though. Think we may surpass that figure.

104 goals in all competitions in season 85/86, 39 league, 3 Scottish Cup, 2 League Cup.

Our record is 141 goals in all competitions in 1957/58 when we finished in the second division behind Stirling Albion, 36 league games and 9 cup ties (the league cup was sections).
