Stunning pictures Swello. Sounds like some trip.

Went to see Fruit Bats at the Glad Cafe last night. First time seeing the band and first time at the venue. It was one of those special nights where my expectations were neutral but I ended up being blown away! Despite being down a drummer and guitarist they were excellent. Great rapport with the crowd, I’m still buzzing after that.

I assume that, rather than a typo, this is a coarse jibe at the hypersensitive, right-leaning, mutual support group. Quite funny, though,
Oops, me and my fat fingers, what am I like?
Apologies to anybody who needs them.

OK, you can get back onto your chat with Feltch then.

Don’t worry about it.
I’m not worried.
If you espouse far-right conspiracy theorists then maybe you should worry.

Thanks for the warning buddy.
I’ll leave the door open for you to tackle my points if you fancy it.
You have a point? Must have missed it chummy.

Sorry BR, fat fingers. Cheers for pointing it out though.
Have you watched much of GB news?
Nah, i have other things to do.
I also think Nigel Farage is a c**t. Free speech before you get upset.

Can't see it mate.
More and more people are turning against the woke nonsense that's constantly being shoved down our throats, which is why we now have a market for GB News and the channel Piers Morgan is on, whatever it's called.
Many youngsters would now choose a Paul Joseph Watson video over the bland, samey, social-engineering mainstream codswallop.
I know you can't see it matey. That's OK, don't say I didn't warn you though.
I had to look up Paul Joseph Watson. I see he's a British far-right You Tuber, radio host and, here's the best bit, conspiracy theorist .
Nah chum, like the English beach users I'll leave you to wallow in your keech.

One of the best things about it that it gives freedom of speach to all.
Freedom of spelling too?

It’s wild just how normalised Jock bashing is in the English media
Could you imagine the reaction if this was a Scottish show and someone used a derogative term to describe an English person
Heads would explode
The existence of GB News and their anti-Jock rhetoric is a further nail in Britain's coffin.
Bye-bye Scotland the dullards of middle England will insist in growing numbers.
The dwindling Scottish Unionist band of Orange oddbods and other right wing dingbats will have been hoisted by their own petard.

Exactly, and the answer is very simple.
Britain. Along with our kith and kin in England, Wales and Ulster.
From Thurso to Truro and Parkhill to the Shankill.
Oops, more blood and soil British Nationalism.

It’s not just Scotland that is subsidised.
The same principle of pooling and sharing applies also to some of the English Regions..
Just shows the benefit of one big country.
Most of the wealth emanates from London and the South East.
Does pooling and sharing mean dumping you with a (supposed) large deficit? Sounds rubbish.
Surprised to see an arch Tory like yourself advocating for subsidies. Your chums in middle England are cottoning onto this nonsense and will gleefully vote to get rid of Scotland.
Britain is dead.

I'm very comfortable with our exit from the EU. Europeans are not our kith and kin.
Oh dear, typical British blood and soil nationalism.

Same here, Fletch.
The idea of separating us from our kith and kin in England, Wales and NI is horrific. It sends a chill up my spine.
I feel your chilly pain. I have kith and kin in Australia and Canada which, im sad to say, are foreign now. God save their souls.

It's Unionist single over the last few hours. The Fletch thing is simply DAF in yet another of his alias posters. Hence he is green dotting himself constantly.
What? Surely not. That would be really, really weird and an even more terrible look for the Unionists.

GERS a great example of us being better off in the Union

If you disagree with what he says, then could you not just counter it with facts?
Wow. Is that how it works?
Like all the facts that Fletcher23 has provided to back up his claims?
All the facts in the world could be presented to Fletcher23 countering his claims only for him to say he disagrees coz he loves being British or something.
I think we all know how this pans out.

Not at all. Yea, Scotland has a big deficit just now but if we were independent it would be a lot worse.
We also have the backing of the Union which we wouldn't have if independent.
Sorry, you are all over the place here. I've summarised your previous statements to demonstrate this.
Have you done any research on the Scottish (Welsh and NI) supposed deficit ? Its been well covered on here before.

Which would be worse if we were independent.
So on one hand you say we are financially better off as part of the UK. Then you say that we have a massive deficit as part of the UK. Then you say that our UK generated deficit will be worse when we achieve independence.
C'mon man, you're all over the place here.

Or put us through another divisive referendum when the country is recovering from covid, there is the fuel and energy costs, a war in the Ukraine, the nhs and education are not doing very well.
And independence would mean years of worse austerity than we have now.
No thank you.
And we as a country do very well financially being part of the Union.
You've just said "Scotland has a deficit of 23.8%, 36.3 billion pounds".

Scotland benefits by about 10% more public spending than other parts of the UK.
A benefit of being in the Union.
But not London. Don’t tell the ‘red wall’ Tories in England. They are looking for someone else to blame for being levelled down now that we’re out of the EU.
