Explain how we signed Robbie Winters after the transfer window closed. Or can we cheat that as well?

Livi signed players on 1st Division contracts. The SFL decided to drop Livi 2 divisions after the transfer window closed leaving us no option but to honour them. If livi emptied the players on the FT contracts, that would leave them open to all sorts of breach-of contract cases, as the players could not then sign for another team until January. Simples Who knows what The next transfer window will bring.

While as a Livi fan and obviously not claiming any kind of moral high ground here, can any of our numerous and vociferous enemies answer me these questions? 1/ Franchise- Clyde move 30-odd miles to council-owned stadium. No name change - not franchise? Airdrieonians die, Clydebank change name to Airdrie United, move 30-odd miles and rock up into stadium that Airdrieonians used to play in. Not franchise? Meadowbank move 16 miles from one council-owned stadium to another. more suitable stadium, owned by a different council. ----Franchise F.C.? 2/ Administration. How many people got stiffed. and for how much when Dundee went into admin? How many people got stiffed. and for how much when Partick did the CVA routine to save their hide? How many people got stiffed, and for how much when Donald McGruther saved Falkirk's arse? Just asking....... Time for some righteous indignation here.

Great post. Let's not forget that Meadowbank played in the Commonwealth Stadium, cold. draughty and the fans were miles from the pitch. A hundred and some fans tops, mostly students supporting the "wee" team in Edinburgh while they were staying there. And, lets not forget Clyde, who moved further than Meadowbank did. Although there wasn't a name change, no-one ever got on their case.

The Italian guys......... I think the best we can currently say is that they are pathologically economic with the truth regardless of who they speak to, and on the evidence to date, way out of their depth in a footballing sense, a cultural and social awareness sense, and a business sense. Their behaviour wrt Hegarty sees them fit that Oscar Wilde quote rather well........they know the price of everything, and the value of nothing.
