The Go! Team - Everyone's A VIP To Someone (from the album Thunder, Lightning, Strike which everyone should buy cause it's great)
Never head it, but the name of the band, the name of the album, and the name of the song all sound so very, very wrong.

I was just about to ask what it was.
My one experience of Brecht was a two week period at school when all we did in our English class was read Mouther Courage and her Children out loud.
Sounds like a good English class. What did you make of it?

There's a Bertolt Brecht play on Radio 3 which is currently grabbing my attention.
Mr Puntilla And His Man Matti, I believe.

Bob Dylan - Sarah.
To my mind his saddest song.
P.S Buy his autobiography. Newsnight Review said it was fabby, and they don't like anything, ever.

Joni Mitchell - In France They Kiss on Main Street - possibly to be followed by Somewhere Down the Crazy River by Robbie Robertson. It was an unexpected chart success, you know.

I can appreciate that her music is an acquired taste to say the least.
I thought the guy doing the human beatbox stuff was fantastic as well. He features a lot on her new LP.
And the bells were fantastic. Bjork is one of the few artists who can justly be described as unique (in much the same way as someone like Tom Wats)
Yes I concur. I liked that tune last night, for some reason.
Oh, and Duran Duran... please give it up now, you don't need the royalties, you ran out of ideas years ago, I wish you'd die or else just shut up. Please.

Bjork - Debut (currently Crying)
A fantastic CD. Did anyone else see Bjork on Jonathon Ross last night? - she's still magic.
The bells, the bells. She's a loony, and that's why she's great. Even though I don't like her music, I think she's quite splendid.

I'm sorry to say this, but the Cowboy Junkies (who I normally adore), really have butchered Ooh, Las Vegas by Gram Parsons, and I'm not at all happy at them for doing that.

Finally got round to buying Kasabian's album today.
Even better than I thought it would be!
Also bought the Keane album for the other half's birthday on Monday.
Christ, remnind me never to come to a party at your house!
I'm going to put on a bit of Sam Cooke I think, as Jonathan Ross doesn't have very good guests today.
