Was talking about this with family last night and agree! They did take 600 to Dundee in previous round in a game where they were expected to get pumped and I'd imagine they will fancy their chances against us!

I'm sure I read somewhere that East Fife wouldn't make a penny from artificial pitch? Must be a lot of pish tho as why else would we rip up a perfectly good playing surface?

There's no real ambition at East Fife and I doubt that will change under current ownership, sad but true. At least we remain debt free after the Lee Murray fiasco and we're looking good to consolidate our place in league one. ETA I suppose we are like most teams at lower level, live by our means, survive and hope for the best. I would rather that than our club going under like Rangers

Barry Smith got some job on his hands. We got very lucky last season with injuries and suspensions but it's went the other way this season.

Who is Courts? I've genuinely never heard of him but a few people have mentioned his name... ETA! After a quick search on Google I've got a butcher from Cowdenbeath! I can only imagine he's a junior manager

The club have no cash so I wouldn't be surprised.

We've got a squad of about 10 players and we're in a relegation battle, the last thing we need is a rookie manager or someone who knows very little about the lower leagues. It might be all we can afford though.

I just hope it's not some rookie who has zero experience but maybe that's all we can afford. Whoever comes in has a job to do, they will have to use the January window wisely if we've to avoid another relegation dog fight. Threadbare squad that is struggling and the football has been terrible, especially last game v Edinburgh City, hopeless punts up the park doesn't work. Good luck to whoever comes in, hopefully we can get back to playing decent football, win some games and the stay away fans will come back
