  1. It’s openly reported by East Fife punters on here that attendances are falling so really the squad you have at the moment is all you can afford, likewise us at the Rovers operating a squad of 16 players which includes  approx 5 players under 20 within that squad it’s not something I agree with but it is what it is as finances dictate. Think your stuck with young for the rest of the season likewise us with Agent Smith

Won't matter to many of us as we won't be there to watch it! As each season passes I've gradually stopped going to away games all together and been more picky with the home games i attend. If I'm being honest I don't miss attending week in week out, far from it! Less than 500 EF fans for a league opener last week tells it's own story! I take my hat off to the few hardy souls who rarely miss a game, certainly a better supporter than I'll ever be but I can't justify giving up my Sat afternoons, paying good money to watch that level of football in a soulless stadium!

I think realistically EF will be a club that just plods along in league 1&2 due to ownership issues!

The board have done well in stabilizing the club all the same and I get the fact we can't get better players on our home attendances but who can blame the locals for staying away? I'd imagine Young would have been punted by now on that record but I suppose we can't afford too! Things can only get better eh? Over to you Mr Young...

Not against st Johnstone, but I expect us to win against 2 teams that will be at our end of the league ? Forfar game was a good result.....? seriously ???? Go and boil yer heed son. Your brain damaged from watching too much lower league football if u think that’s a good result. The whole we’re at our level attitude really frustrates me, that’s why gates are dwindling. And as for disappearing...... thing is I go home and away most weekends, as I have done for 20 years. I also buy 2 ST every year except this year. So a doubt disappearing is on the cards baring in mind my living room looks into bayview. So u should think twice before trying to judge somebody’s type from a p&b post. If I am correctly informed and your are who I’ve been told you are, I’ve been standing in the pissing rain a lot lot longer than you [emoji23]. You need to understand if some one has an opinion that doesn’t match yours, you can’t start questioning there commitment to the club more so when you don’t know who your talking to......

I would say playing a team from our league with 10 men for 60 minutes, avoiding defeat, creating chances and picking up a point is pretty decent! We're EF no Celtic! Put the knives away at least until a few league games have been played [emoji108]

  3. Football was pish last season but I'll judge Darren this season, clearout complete and he's brought his own players in! Play off spot is a must! The board say the objective is to win league but they would say that! Can't blame Darren for lack of strikers, we were in for 2 experienced strikers but what can Darren do without the financial backing? I hope Court, Dowds and Smith can stay clear of injury and we push on for play off place. Wasn't a fan of Darren Young last season but he has my full support going into a new season. Other teams have recruited well and it's going to be a hard league! All we can do is back the team, do our bit and hope for the best. Good luck Darren, I hope you prove myself and many others wrong. Mon the Fife

  4. Personally I don't think McBride is a bad signing! I can't comment too much on the other signings as I don't know too much about them but it's always a risk signing players from non league and players who struggled for game time at their former clubs! We just have to trust Darren and get behind the team from the off when the season starts! We would all love to sign higher calibre players but what can you do if the funds are not available? Good luck and fingers crossed the players gel and we can have a good season [emoji460]

  5. It's fairly obvious that we need another striker, esp if Smith or Court pick up an injury! Not sure who's available or if we have funds but fingers crossed we hear more signing news soon. I'm sure Court will be out to prove a point after limited chances at the Rovers. We live in hope
