Quite a few fans of teams in the league above us are complaining about a lack of signings - think this has an impact on the likes of us as there will be fewer "one -in, one-out" type changes.

Broonie and Whit(tf) now have a week to get us ready for a much sterner test - big crowd beckons. They'll be looking at Sanders coming in even though McGinty and Stanger were fine today so I wonder if he'll stick him in at full-back. Looked a lot more workmanlike today and definite signs of players putting in the yards when they may not have bothered under LB. Pleased for Mackenzie (I still like him despite the doubters on here) and his work rate is something others can learn from. All in all, a good day and 3 points.
More please, Broonie. More.

From where I stand, Dowds is playing well enough just now - gets on the end of passes forward and muscles away any defender, just needs a goal (even a tap in) to be back to where he was a few weeks ago (undroppable)

Every now and then some cvnt like Generaldisarray comes on here and stinks the place out with inane garbage - just fvck right off and get a life. And have an ignore while you're there!

Forget the hype around Broonie - a win on Saturday is all I want (plus a couple of good signings of course before the window closes)

Who do we fancy in the next round? Bonnyrigg?
God know - one banana skin avoided is enough, thank you. Big payday and then concentrate on staying in the championship.

Happy gettin beyond a banana skin for sure. Totally unconvincing for long minutes but maybe that'll help some players' confidence. Kelty didn't offer much in the final third so Charlie had a quiet day for once. Lookin at some of the other results, we've done alright in comparison.

On balance I'd prefer to hear news of at least a couple of signings - the new head coach will arrive in time.

Anyone but that wee tosser Dodds. Have a feeling it won't be anyone in that list - though if I'm wrong then it'll be Yogi.
Whoever it is, I think we'll need a stronger coaching team than LB had - maybe that was a big part of the problem?

A season too early IMO.
Once he’s spent next season terrorising defenders in the Premiership (with Rovers, obvs) he’ll be a shoo-in for the World Cup qualifiers squad.
Quick, nurse - the screens!

Interesting that we faired okay without McGinty for a full half of the RR game (and with 10 men therefore). Will we be any better with 11 men on the park and potentially with a makeshift defence? Having Stanger and Mousanda in the middle should be okay....but otherwise?
Would like us to go for it with Franny and Logan at full throttle. But if Murphy is fit by then, who knows what the selection will be.
Hoping to see some of my Fife friends for this one - it's your round, lads

Pains me to say it but this team looks better on plastic - heavier pitches seem to blunt our quicker players and I reckon Amartey and Chalmers wouldn't have been as effective as they were last night. Just a thought.
Merry Christmas, everybody/

Was having a cup of tea and thinking of people who have played for or managed both clubs.
So far I have:
Gordon Dalziel
David Craig
John Hughes
Ludovic Roy
Kevin Cuthbert
Dario Zanatta
Liam Buchanan
Gareth Wardlaw
Ryan Borris
Frankie Musonda
Eddie Annand
Danny Lennon
Willie Lyle
Kevin Nisbet
Varying degrees of success there.
Thanks for the memory......not.

Ashford far more effective. Should have never let him leave.
Thought Ashford was a headless chicken at times even if he did run about a lot. McGeady has more of a football brain even if the legs are not there now. I know who I prefer and it isn't Ashford.

The subs were horrible. If you think praise is due for bringing on Fraser Bryden in the 62nd minute, are you Lee Bullen?
Never praised anyone. But I'm enjoyin the result. Chill out, bro.

........another cunning plan from Bullen in the form of a bunch of completely incongruous subs given no direction other than to run around a lot.......................
Didn't last too well.

Will Peterhead be offering a streaming service for this game?
The lack of answer would suggest not. And their website is less than informative on that score

Was planning on taking the weans to this but now doubtful - Saturday's at 3pm are always better than re-arranged evening games for us parents. Ah well, the delights of Dunfermline will have to wait a bit longer.
