Dreading tomorrow. A defeat will be very telling about our future.

I'm not as concerned as many others seem to be.

Even if we finish bottom we still have the opportunity of the playoffs and I think we'll smash Brechin or smug Kennedy's mob.

Although I'd rather not finish bottom. Just in case 😁

Fans of other teams come on this thread with decent input and get more grief for doing so than folk like Jimmy choo get for his repetitive keyboard bashing ramblings.

How many times does it have to be said, Jimmy Choo is NOT a Clyde supporter. He never had been. He's simply a troll.

    Mute the bore.

  3. Disappointed that once again we have not addressed the full back positions to the level I would've hoped.

We now have an 18 year old left back on loan. How many of these have we seen over the years before they're dropped, never too be seen again. Hopefully he surprises me but he did look like a skinny, lightweight 18 year old to me on Tuesday night.

Dunachie at right back? He did a decent job filling in there but his flaws in that position are becoming more and more obvious.

Our last resort will be another loanee.

Please God, no more 18 year olds from your Hamiltons or Kilmarnocks of the world.

I agree with 99% of that, just not sure Allan can play up front on his own, don’t think he has the touch to hold possession till support arrives. Apart from Keeper situation we would absolutely benefit from another striker.

Allan's touch isn't great for holding the ball up.

It's was made even worse last night by the ball arriving at head height.

He needs it over the top to run onto or to his feet

  5. I suspect the last couple of signings are to make good the promise of eight signings by our director of football.

I can't believe those players are the quality Maitland had in mind when he made the statement at the Q&A.

I hope I'm proven wrong but I'm not optimistic.

  6. The goalie made a horrendous mistake but that shouldn't mask the poor performances from many others in the team

Howie, Dunachie are two who weren't at it tonight. The new fullback looks lightweight. The new winger seemed on his heals and slow to react.

High balls to Allan are useless. He needs them over the top of to feet

Also, I don't think I've ever seen a team take so long to make a simple pass. Always a delay or a second and third touch. How many times tonight were passes blocked or deflected?

We got what we deserved tonight, goalkeeper mistake or not.

Good prospect. Absolutely rapid and has potential as a dribbler. While his crossing tends to be really poor, it looked like it had improved when he played in the Youth League earlier this season and he tries to pick teammates out rather than just shelling balls in so that can offset that weakness.

He's pretty poor in his own half when it comes to building up in possession and defensively, so he's a player with some attributes to make it big but I understand why he's not been given much of a chance. Hoping for the best.

So a eighteen year old that can't cross or defend?

    Just what we need

He's a complete standout at this level technically and just needs to sharpen up on the mental/tactical side of the game to make good on his potential. If you asked me prior to the Bonnyrigg game then I wouldn't have been bothered either way, but he was terrific that day given a bit of freedom further up the park. We'll get a lot more out of King playing advanced with the likes of Grant, Cuddihy and Leitch supplying him than we did when we were asking him to be our main central midfielder in a team that was universally desperately poor in possession.

I hope you're a better judge of a player than me.

My Morton-supporting chum has just informed me that King is on his way back to us. Finally some good news!

What has King shown in his loan period with us that makes us think we should extend the loan?

Other than the fantastic goals at the book ends of his initial loan he's been pretty anonymous in most games.

Perhaps he does things for the team I don't see or are we gambling that he plays better in a better team (which can be said for most players).

The other thing was how quickly the focus shifted after Crownpoint, considering it was implied that all the eggs were in that basket either that wasn’t strictly true or something else became available shortly after or round about the decision coming in.

I suspect the club had an idea the Crownpoint bid was likely to be unsuccessful.

However, there was an AGM to be had and a chairman to re-elect.
