It's an outside caterer that runs the pie hut.
I'm sure when I walked past, they were charging £4/£4.50 for a hot dog which is silly money. Must be some mark up on them.
I've noticed at other grounds this season, they are selling cans and bottles rather than decanting into cups - more relaxed rules in the league I guess.
Big win. We needed that.
I thought Dean Ritchie was superb in the first half. Did the dirty work in the midfield - seemed really fired up against his old club.
Kirk Broadfoot could still do a job at Championship level.
Bob McHugh?
That's me out of names but I don't claim to have a huge knowledge of the players at this level.
I don't buy that. We are still paying decent wages to the players - yes, they are on less than last season's squad but will be on more than most of the players in the league, a lot of whom won't be getting paid at all. Our recruitment has been poor overall with a few decent signings scattered throughout. We could have got better value if Maurice hadn't signed an Under 20s side to begin with. To be fair, he acknowledged he needed experience and has started to bring that into the side.
One of Maurice's shouts at Carlos Lyon last night was "you're just a waste of space." That's not going to make players want to play for you. Is that how he talks to all the players?
Surprisingly Fox's policy of signing ex-Livingston players (Burton O'Brien, Gary Glen, Craig Sives, David Robertson, Shaun Rutherford, Dale Carrick) and playing strikers at centre back didn't work.
If nobody objects, I'd very much enjoy if Cowdenbeath scored more goals than Bo'ness United in the forthcoming match.
I hope my thoughts don't offend anyone. If they do, I apologise.
Why don't the players want to sign? Is it because they talk to their friends in the game? "Hi Bobby Barr (who's had a few digs at Maurice on Twitter with those Tweets liked by last season's squad), I'm thinking about signing for Cowdenbeath. Good club?"
Or they speak to Kris Renton who talked to the papers about a clash with Maurice. "Hey Rents, been approached by Cowden. Decent move?"
Cowdenbeath should absolutely be able to attract and sign good, experienced players within the budget. 100%.
