  1. Are you serious ? Half gate at Ardeer . That wont even cover half the cost of the bus !! . We have the opposite at kilsyth, with 10 of our next 15 league fixtures at home . We will have only 2 scheduled home league fixtures after the 28th of December. Just begs the question why ?

Stop moaning you get half the gate at Ardeer do you not?!

Troon, Benburb, Pollok, Cumnock and Clydebank all highly likely to be on if you were meant to be playing them Dec-Feb and therefore you reversed the fixture. Would mean less cancellations and less fixture congestion.
  2. Aye !! You know I know and everyone around us know ... He made contact with the ball first in a 50 50 tackle and yes he didnt hold anything back. It doesn't matter and didnt affect the out come. Just got my back up with the picture posted with him going in and the ball nowhere near.

Were you standing beside me? [emoji38]
  3. Listen a would stand in a court of law and tell you the same thing . The camera doesn't pick up . The defender got to ball and thr momentum of the attacker took the ball forward in the tackle. I was yard from it and seen it clear as day. The first frame of the camera in the original post was a low blow to back up a flimsy case .

The conclusion I've came to is really watching the video highlight and then slowing it down, At the point of tackle, the ball was heading downwards towards Kilsyth goal and after tackle it doesn't change, except there's a little off kilter in its line of trajectory but was that the defender touching the ball or the forward touching it. If the ball was heading goal wards and after tackle both were still on feet chasing ball then it was fine but opponent took the forward out, thus Id say yellow card and foul. Again if it was, say 5 yards near the penalty area and it was in same situation, I could see ref giving a red card 9 times out of 10.

Just wannna say, some good goals in that match but the Kilsyth goal was fantastic, nothing any defender or goalkeeper could do

that's where the ball is when the player made contact with forde.

Slow it dowm.  It was straight in front of me. It was a clean tackle. Your kidding yourself on to suggest the ball was there when the tackle was made . Its the jail you would get if that was the case  not a yellow card !!

  5. That's pretty poor to show that still. The tackle had been made by then and that's the break of the ball, at the point you have chosen to capture. The player played the ball and won it fairly . The referee even admitted that much after the game. Reason for booking was that wining the ball with excessive force ? Include the whole tackle in Your highlights and perhaps the award of the free kick that leads to the 5 th goal
I would love to see that back !

do you mean this outstanding tackle

  6. [emoji85][emoji1787][emoji1787] your pulling my leg now mate . It's a junior park !! That one sided enclosure runs the full length of the pitch, and can accommodate over a 1000. A only wish we could fill it. Over the years a number of junior clubs have upped their game and  we have  a number of fantastic pitches especially in ayrshire, but nothing wrong with some of our boys, feeling a bit of pride in our home. Is it the best ?? Probably not, but credit to the boys who look after it. It's a lot of work.

  7. Hmmm no I didn't
Anyway to all Kilsyth Rangers supporters, I am sorry for my mistake, your team is actually great.
If you beat the bottom team who haven't won a single point 9-1 you must be great. The team incidentally that held you till half time and whose heads went down with the award of a penalty for an incident that was outside the box. But never mind that, it doesn't detract in any way from your greatness.
Other great teams in the league include Glencairn and Whittletts who are if anything slightly greater having beaten us 9-0 and St Roch's who are only slightly less great at 9-2.
Honourable mentions too to Cumbernauld (8-0 and 7-1) and Arthurlie (7-1), if they'd scored a couple more goals they could have risen to the great levels of Kilsyth.
It's no wonder looking at these that we're bottom with all these great teams in the league.

Hmmmm indeed . You did manage an encouraging score line in your previous match against a Rossvale side going well. Albeit still a defeat on the wrong end of a 1 nil score line. Started brightly and took the lead at Duncansfield. Surely now you had turned the corner !! You must have thought. Only to come a croper and end up on the wrong end of 9 1 score line. 8 home games for Kilsyth 8 wins .Now were we good? or were you terrible ? Doesn't really matter but we managed 8 more than Rossvale did the week before so for me that's pretty decent. Although it did start with a dodgy pen !! So probably no a true reflection on how the game went! Canny expect to play for another 42 mins with decisions like that .

P.s We were shocking first half !![emoji848]
