  1. Considering the MINIMUM donation amount is £100, I think that is an incredible amount to have raised.
  2. Current "Buy the Pars" total: Pars United required £100,000 of fan donations to buy the Club. As you can see, this has been more than matched.
  3. The Challenge Cup is a complete waste of time. Hopefully it'll be scrapped after the SFL/SPL amalgamation.
  4. The group who are currently attempting to take over the club have stated that we will remain full-time regardless.
  5. Am I in the minority in that I don't want us to become wholly fan-owned? I understand the importance of having a significant portion of the club under fan ownership, but I think it would be risky not to have a few wealthy benefactors to fall back on, if needed.
  6. Yep, probably anywhere between a 10 to 25 point deduction.
  7. Club official statement: http://www.dafc.co.uk/articles/20130327/dunfermline-athletic-fc-appoint-pkf-as-interim-managers_2208030_3123641
  8. Wow VickingTON, talk about obsessed. You'd have an entire fucking essay by joining together your posts.
  9. "IT'S A GOAAAAAALLLL!!!!!!!!!!!!! Oh, wait, it's not a goal." Fucking fantastic commentary.
  10. If we are liquidated, EEP will be sold to some supermarket and we'll be in the juniors as "Dunfermline City FC" or something. Unless we're allowed to keep our name.
  11. Most likely. But it would be a different club. Different ground, different players, different people. DAFC would be no more. We'd get no special treatment, unlike the inbreds from Govan.
  12. There won't be administration apparently - straight to liquidation. Which is probably what Masterton wants; he'll get far more than the £250,000 offered to him that way.
  13. On a positive note, Sir Alex has agreed to send up a Manchester United XI to play in a friendly.
  14. You-know-who rejects the 2 offers from TPC. Leishman not confident about share issue; concerned about fans wasting money. Words are "nowhere near" £500,000 will be raised. You can view the document here: http://www.slideshare.net/SaveThePars Ladies and gentleman, it looks like we're fucked.
  15. Link to entire press conference from yesterday: http://www.parstv.co.uk/upload/20130306pressc.mp4
  16. Who's going to go tits-up first, the Jambos or the Pars? Dark fucking days we're in right now.
  17. I would find it extremely sad if the club with the highest attendances in the First Division could not sustain a full-time squad.
  18. I actually think Potter would make a good manager. Always seems to get on well with the players and is doing really well with the Under-20's. Would be keen to see JP made manager with a fair few from the Under-20's promoted to the first team. Get rid of the likes of Kirk, Gallacher, Dowie, Barrowman, etc. Would much rather see home-grown talent play for us.
  19. Just because Charleston owes money to the bank doesn't mean that the bank owns the company, or EEP for that matter. And the bank isn't pumping money into EEP, so I'm completely fucking baffled why we're even talking about this.
  20. I'm assuming that's the case. There's no way Masterton would have allowed Jefferies to sign any more players on full-time professional wages. Unless he's even more of an idiot than I thought.
