I suppose the one thing going for Sanders is that he is relatively young for a centre half - he has only just turned 25 and has not played a lot of football so there should be lots of development in him. There is definitely something there - he can look good on the ball and be dominant. We have just seen too much of the other side of him.

I wouldn’t really care if an opposition player did it. The only person with explaining to do is Willoughby, if he decided for himself that he was taking penalties off of Murphy or Dowds. Anyway, who cares really - we won 5-0 and should be okay from here!

If Willoughby was trying to remove someone like Murphy from penalties, then he deserved shit for it - I don’t think Sanders can be blamed for that. Murphy has achieved more in his career over a few games than Willoughby has throughout his career. He fronted up and scored though, so fair play and it didn’t become an issue. Logan Chalmers now has NINE goals and four assists in twenty starts and four sub appearances. I genuinely think he would need to score a goal a game for some people to admit he contributes excellently at this level. His return this season has been fantastic.

Murphy is always our taker so I didn’t particularly understand how he didn’t take either!

No? I’m just saying what I think should be the case.. Someone does the same thing in another championship match tomorrow and receives no ban - it just looks silly.

Of course they can, but you can’t just be applying things based on which game is on the tv.

As much as he fully deserves it after his last few games, you can’t be dishing out bans just because a team happens to be on tv when everything else is completely ignored.

Lost track a little, who are you likely to play in defence if Little and O’Brien are out? For us, we actually have some options in the forward positions which is a nice change.

If we make a couple of decent signings I’ll get a season, if we don’t I won’t. Im just not willing to accept the nonsense we have had to witness at home recently - you can’t justify £300 odds for what we have been given. I’m not asking for huge things, just some signs that the recruitment department have learnt their lesson and we improve the areas of the side that are badly needed.

Didn’t it go up last season? Surely not again… £25 is wild! You generally get Scotland games for cheaper than that in some areas.

The only potential minor benefit I can see is that it doesn’t allow other teams to turn us round - in terms of sport psychology and focusing on your performance etc etc. The place does evidently flatten when a team turns us round. I’m very aware that is grasping at straws though! I can understand the frustration to an extent, and I don’t like it either - I guess it’s worse this year too whereas next year we could potentially have fans right up to the corner flag of the North Terrace.

I’m really not sure it will cost money to look into the percentages of goals scored at either end!

I wonder if we might start all three of Amartey, Chalmers and Murphy on Saturday… I can’t see both Bryden and McKenzie dropping out but I think we want our most creative players on the pitch/those that commit defenders. Hopefully McHugh is ready to start too, as he makes a big difference to our control of games.

Of course you can get rid of players for being shite if their contracts are up…

Yeah - I think he got booked shortly after. I thought he was a bit better in the second half tbf, but half time possibly just changed the game as Morton basically lost all intensity from that point and didn’t offer much.
